  1. Ok, great. Maybe it can be fixed with future updates again. Greetings
  2. Dear Team, I face the issue that I need to apply lens correction all time by myself even if the lens is detected and slo a Profile is existing. As I remember this was applied automatically in Photo 1 but no more in Photo 2 Is there any setting to apply this automatically again? Running on MacOS Ventura 13.3.1 with a mac mini 2020 M1 an d Photo version 2.0.4
  3. That's a pity as you do not know it when buying like proposed on the Serif homepage in the Appstore
  4. This worked out and the Plugins working right now. Thanks for the help... Now the major question... would "open using Rosetta" also fix the limited access of the Plugins in the Apple AppStore Version?
  5. Hey folks, I'm facing the issue that I can't use any Plugin in Affinity Photo anymore. I used Hemi and Nik before on my late 2012 MacBook Pro, but I switched some weeks ago to the M1 Mac mini. As nothing happened when choosing the Plugin beside of "Plugin" was mentioned as step in the protocol I have done the following: - Uninstall Affinity Photo (Apple AppStore Version) - Empty the trash bin - Purchase Affinity Photo for a second time via Serif website - Download dmg installer and re-install Affinity Photo - Add all plugin folders and check the box to allow unknown Plugins - restart Affinity Photo - Open a random JPG - try out and see that nothing changed Starting Topaz Denoise or any NIK app independently works fine, but I want to reduce the steps of interchanging between apps. Any hints or did I just throw additional 28€ to the bin?
  6. Great, it is a pleasure to get swift feedback from the team even if I know that this will take some time until this is done. Cheers
  7. As you see there aren’t any options on iPadOS choosing the lens profile or even take the choice if the lens correction should be applied or not. i hope my point is somehow understandable. 1087453.RW2
  8. Hey Dan, Sorry for the late feedback on this topic... I have opened the raw file using serif and apple raw engine but actually it looks the same though I assume that no correction is applied. I will post a shot of the same file using photo on my Mac.
  9. Hey folks, I celebrate 19 release especially on my iPad Pro but still the lens correction is not applied even when I chose serif labs engine for raw development. I use files from Panasonic g9 with Olympus 8 mm fisheye pro attached. When I compare with Mac OS version it is still a big difference
  10. Is there any plan to introduce Serif labs engine to iPadOS version of photo? I love the app on my iPad Pro but struggle with exactly this point of lens correction. I thought I could supplement my MacBook by using my iPad Pro for photo ...
  11. Actually I didn't change the setting. If I switch to 16 bit the contrast effect is more like I am used to. Do I lose any positive effect when I use 16 bit instead of 32bit output format?
  12. Yeah it feels much stronger than with 1.7.0 ... I've attached you the file from the screenshot P1062556.RW2
  13. Hey guys! I just want to boost a whole bunch of travel pics and figured out that the latest version of AP had some changes in the RAW develop engine. If I just increase the contrast by e.g. 5% it looks like I have increased the levers by 75% ! If I switch to Apple RAW Engine from Serif Labs I lose all the Lens corrections and the adjustments are still to extreme from contrast. Is this now working as intended or is it a bug? RAW file comes from Panasonic G9 Kindly awaiting your reply.
  14. For sure I uploaded this file shown in the sreenshots. Feel free to play around. I just tested it also with raw files from my GX80/85 where the problem does not occur. But also in the earlier built it wasn't a problem with the G9 RAWs.
  15. From the latest release thread: Actually this is a big mess... When I load .rw2 files from my Panasonic G9 the meta data from this file are completely destroyed... Lens information will be deleted and automatic lens correction won't work anymore. Further GPS data are removed. Showing in my screenshots the EXIF from Apple preview and AP Beta Build 112 ... Any comments on this?
  16. You are hearty welcome. That's what this forums and betas are for. Actually it seems to be just a little thing. Any idea when 1.7. is going live?
  17. Dear MEB, thanks for the swift reply. Actually yes, the lens correction is enabled and the picture looks exact the same like with disabled lens correction. Find below some Screenshots and a RAW file from GX80 attached. Here we see loading the .rw2 file to AP 1.6.7. with enabled Lens correction. Below screenshot like regular fisheye without correction (in beta 1.7) Sorry everything is in German but actually I can assure that lens correction is enabled. Maybe you can try out and actually restore the bug? Best regards Patryk _1110949.RW2
  18. Dear Team, actually I downloaded the newest beta as I recognised Version 1.6.7. was not capable to handle my RAWs für Panasonic DC-G9 with the Serif Labs RAW Engine. Actually loading a picture was completely desaturated and modifying simple contrast was really extreme. Anyhow this is not the topic. I faced the solution using Apple Core RAW Engine but as I want to go with the Serif Labs Engine due to Lens correction which was outstanding also for the Olympus 8mm Fisheye I downloaded the latest beta. And what shall I say. I just cannot await to get this Version 1.7. live because the improvements are huge especially recognising much faster loading time on my old MacBook. Unfortunately it seems that the lens correction which was fabulous in 1.6.7. is not applied yet to the beta? Is this right? Best regards Patryk
  19. Hey folks, this problem with "f*ckin up my gps data" while developing raws with gps data inside affinity photo destroys my motivation editing my pictures with AP. Doesn't matter if I take the last release built or the newest beta. The problem is like described above: GPS Data in the RAW file is correct after editing with affinity photo the GPS Data is switched from Western to Eastern longitude. So all the pictures now are relocated from Costa Rica right to the middle of the bay of Bengal between India and Sri Lanka. Is there any chance to fix this soon?
  20. Dear stokerg, thanks for the reply. I have uploaded you a sample RAW and the JPEG that I have exported with Affinity Photo. Just opening in Apple preview already shows by hitting CMD+I that the GPS Tag is messed by switching the longitude from West to East. Hope you have any idea how to fix this
  21. Hey folks, actually I am very upset at the moment cause I have to repair manually lot of the data from my photos made from my trip in Scotland. Actually I use the raw development from my Panasonic data and this kills and messes up everything in the EXIF. E.g. the GPS data that is recorded well in the jpeg and the .rw2 file from the cam. I open the rw2 and develop with affinity photo and long story short... after the export to jpeg again the GPS data is "modified" means that the longitude is changed from west to east ??? WHY!? Finally all of my pics have been shot in the middle of the north sea now... great! Another thing is the time stamp in the file.. After editing, developing, editing and exporting to Jpeg I place the photos to the Macintosh app Photos to use as library After the import of the files the mess begins... all photos are mixed up and not anymore in the right order. I hit CMD+I for the information ... the timestamp seems to be correct. I dabble click the time to check the timezone ... and it is f***** up.. no time zone and a time which has nothing to do with the original and neither with the editing Maybe someone have an idea how to fix it for the future... now I have edited all timestamps and gps data manually which took me some days what I want to avoid in future...
  22. Hey Lee D, thank you for the heartily welcome. Actually you solved my problem. Seems to be a problem with the assistant that is given wrong tone correction on some specific shots. Changing from Serif Labs to Apple's Core Image eliminates the purples. Switching off the tone curve even amplifies the purple colouring. Also played around with all other options in the assistant but only way to get rid of this is change to Apple's Engine and taking out Serif Labs. Any chances to get this fixed with the next updates for the GX80 raw files?
  23. Dear community, I am facing some problems with some RAW files that have high light exposure and get some tendency for the sky to burn out. When I open the RAW file in Affinity Photo develop persona (v.1.5.1 Mac) I get some purple skies I do not get when opening the file with Apple preview or Photoshop. Also the ready made JPEG does not show any purples in the sky. Are there any adjustments that can be done to fix this problem? I am using Panasonic Lumix GX 80 / GX 85 / GX 7 Mark II however it is called in different countries. See the screenshots below in the upper left corner. Thanks !
