When setting a preset in the crop tool to 1050x1650 px and choosing that preset when using the crop tool the crop on the context tool bar to the right of the dpi box shows a different dimension of 610x960px and after cropping and looking at the document in the resize document window I see that my crop is to the 610x960px and not to the preset. I am using Affinity Photo 1.82.620 Looking through preferences I did not see any selection to be made that would effect this setting. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. crop_image.afphoto

I found on the top menu select arrange and then align middle worked for me hope this helps someone.

You may add me to this list I purchased on 25 November and my order also shows it is completed, and like you, I have received no dispatch notice. When order placed was given this notice: "Your order is in stock and will be on its way soon. We will email you to let you know when it has been dispatched. Your order will be delivered to:" I am in the U.S.A and was told it would be delivered in 5-7 days. I understand if they received a large amount of orders and are backlogged however Affinity some communication would be appreciated.

I also have a question on cropping and borders. When opening and resizing a picture I am able to also resize canvas and get a border around the whole picture, how ever when I crop a picture the border only goes partially around the picture. I have tried saving the image and re-opening same problem only partial border. Also have double checked center point in resize canvas is checked and proper dimensions are used. Question is it possible to crop an image and then add a border all the way around the image? If yes how?

Hello to everyone, I am Frank and live in central Oregon. Recently retired and starting my hobby of photography. Was looking for a photo editing program and came across Affinity photo which I am going through the tutorials and so far I have been very happy with the program. I have a question regarding photo printers. Has anyone used the Canon PIXMA PRO-100 Wireless Professional Inkjet Photo Printer I see it on B&H for $379.00 with a $250.00 rebate from Canon. Presently I am looking for a photo printer and wondering if the one by Canon is a good for a starter? I notice the ink is not cheap for this printer but I guess you get what you pay for. Any recommendations would be appreciated. Thank you.
