Can you please reconsider - I have V1 of Photos and Designer but I was waiting for Black Friday special to get Publisher. Then with no warning you yanked it off the app stores. I don't need updates. What works now will always work.

Can I still buy V1 of Publisher for an unsupported Mac? I'm missing one from the set.

Fortunately for you, your Macbook supports Catalina. Those who cannot upgrade will be unable to open v2 files and there is no mechanism I can see to save in the older format.
