I cutout or selected an image from my first background using the (selection brush ) I think it is called, copied it and pasted it in a second background image worked ok. Now I went back to cut out another object but the original cutout is still active (you know with the flashing line still around it) so I went ahead and selected the (selection brush ) again ,circled a new object from the same background but when I went to the second background and tried to paste it nothing happened. How do I get rid of the original cutout? The only way I could get rid of it was to hit edit and undo, but if it took me six or more manipulations of the (selection brush ) tool to get the cutout encircled then I had to hit edit and undo six or more times and that can't be right, can it? I hate to sound like the PS guys but with the 15 year old program I mentioned in another topic called "Visual Reality" you could take this pencil tool, draw around the cutout that you wanted, click anywhere inside the cutout and it could then be manipulated, moved, copied, warped, shaded, change color, virtualy anything you wanted to do to it on the fly without making it a layer or mask. I'm just beginning to understand how powerful that program was and that was 15 years ago! I guess I'm old...... and maybe a little spoiled. I still love this app. though. The learning curve is just a bit more than I imagined. Thanks for any help.
