  1. Hmm,didn't think about that lol, I'll have to look at it in another browser and see. ^_^
  2. They are interesting, they look good enough for sketch or pencil type shading. Thanks for sharing. :)
  3. You're welcome, and clad I could help also. I noticed on some of their page sections, when you click on them, the text is hard to read against the bg,maybe if they had a bounding text box with a color in it,you can read it better, otherwise it looks slightly unprofessional if you cant read what they advertise.
  4. I like 1,3,7,8....1 and 3,the font might look better with a san serif type, imo,it looks out of place with the font style. Not picking,im new and learning logo design also, just maybe using a different font would help balance it out a bit ;) . as for 3 might look good as a sound waves on both sides of the A,but with no headphones. Edit I just wanted to try somethin lol,not trying to outdo you
  5. I messed around with it cloned some parts of the clouds in that blue sky part and did some other things lol. 6091ddbf993c936d91790bd1da979f89.afphoto
  6. Ya,I agree, makes it more sorted out and would be much faster to find things related to each Program.
  7. Haha,it's ok,I'm just playing around,I just thought it was a bit funny that it reminded me of that meme ;) It's not a bad logo either, but something throws me off a bit, maybe its the shadow under the spoon/over the text? or the overlaping spoon. It's a nice working idea I think, and ya,maybe add some steam above the spoon. It made me want to play around with something, not to out do you, just trying out your approach. :) RealFood.afdesign
  8. This part of your post made me think of a designer meme I saw many weeks ago lol, It was a series of "What not to tell a Grapghic Designer"....It said "You're the Designer, you know what to do" lol....
  9. Is this what you meant? 1. made two copies of the planet 2. used the doughnut shape too as ring 3, used one of the planet copies to help cut/divide the ring 4. deleted some of the planet and ring unnecessary bits 5. rearranged the other ring bits (forgot to mention i made twp copies of those,as I used the second copy to put in front)
  10. You might try somethin like this is AP with the perspective tool. I've provided a screenshot of it Just change the direction of the shadow to 180. :) Perspective Tool Icon
  11. Wow,love the waves and rock details,I always like how when the light hits just right on the waves, the colour(s) look like a coloured glass window you'd see in a restaurants,bars/pubs,and also nice when it can be replicated in paintings. And Tony's got a nice talent too, that look reminds me of the old sci-fi/D&D's style from paperback books,I like some of those kinds of drawing styles from back then lol.
  12. You looking for something like this? It's called (as ive forgotten till looked for it lol) "Embedded Document".
  13. Wow,I like your tech. I understand the other bits can be done on ones own,but this here I like, still right up there with the split mirrors, even if you didn't want to "copy" all. Thanks for sharing your preview and cant wait to see you're tutorial on this and others. :)
  14. Ooo,nice,I have the Dream Styles Metal ones (and the others from DS,but this is also good to have in your "metal collections" lol. Thanks for making/Sharing them :) .
  15. Yes,cant seem to quite figure this out lol, looks "simple" enough lol. I even tried to "re-do" the same tech, but no avail.
  16. Love these styles, been playin with them and they really are nice on certain fonts. Thanks for sharing :).
  17. I use both Affinity Photo and Affinity Designer, one for art design and the other, for photos, unless i can mix and match (use both for one particular project),but i tried this what your asking,in Affinity Photo, and what I did was make two text layers (two copies) of the same text and put both with outer glow effect, and with the bottom text layer I turned it mostly Gaussian blur,so that the top layer gets that extra "umph" lol . Edit Again: You can also add (which I just now realized what looks to be also on the text you shared,a "outline" around the main text too. Like this.
  18. I was wondering about this lol,I watched how you could "get rid" of it,but not add it (yet). I also have a plug-in for GIMP,that can create this too,and was going to use that,if there wasn't a way (yet) in Affinity Photo. And Thanks for sharing :).
  19. True, and it's a great program as well as Affinity Photo, ithey are good what it does have, regardless at what it doesnt have (yet). I like playing with both programs alot. And yeah,it's a nicely made car,I can have patience for some things, but with this kind of detailing, idk lol.
  20. No problem, and since that text sample was so small,I did think at first it was upside down and horizontally flipped haha...btw,im a big font freak lol. I love working with them in my artworks.
  21. That reminds me of the very old style sci-fi covers on novels, not bad, even though a bit kreepy with the eyes lookin to pop out lol.
