  1. Hi, Is it possible to select multiple guides and move them at the same time? It's a very good feature from Illustrator and I have difficulty doing this in Designer. Thank you
  2. Yeah I know https://photologo.co/ which are making amazing signatures! But making my own will be impossible since I still don't have a great signature IRL, so having it on photos... no! Making one from photologo for example could be a great idea, but I'm a bit scare since if someone contact me for whatever reason and need a signature, I will not be able to do it myself lol! ----------------- I tried with constant stroke and duplicating. Always have a difference of size between the two lines. Maybe because of the curve/shape of it. Well, I did a minor change here and it looks much better.
  3. Hmm... I started working on it again after a little break. Well... I think I will change again, because this logo is good, but I think it's too agressive. Since I want to use it on my website and as possible watermark on photos, it need to be simple and elegant at the same time. I tried this one in white with transparency on a photo and it's very agressive. The logo is good, but for a brand or something like that, maybe not photography. I know lot of photographers are having a Photologo signature and other have some small images too like So, I need something simple, clean, elegant that represent me and what I like. I also don't want to copy anyone logo and that's hard since there is millions of them on the web. I like travelling, nature and wildlife. I also love mountains, but don't want to copy the guy above lol. So something that inspire liberty and travel. I thought about something like this windy shape. You still can see the N, but very subtle. What do you think? Well. I like it more since it's more elegant, but I have two issues that need to be addressed. 1. Would like to keep the same space all the way between the two, but it's very hard. How can I achieve that? 2. I'm scare about this little part. Do you think it's too thin for web?
  4. OK thank you. Because I know that in Illustrator you have the option to not export artboard, but only objects inside. Well, that's the final! One choice between 3... It will be the final one for the last couple of years. I'm very slow at working on it, because I'm just not working on it every days lol. In fact, it take me a couple of minutes to an hour to do that lol.
  5. Thank you. FINAL Now time to design my future website PS: How can I export only the vector and not the full Artboard? Can't find the Export option... Also transparency settings? Is it possible to keep transparency background, but not the transparency of the vector (or I will have to change the color manually)? I also did an abstract logo which is only three lines reprensenting the three lines of the N. lol. Was just for fun... I went there https://www.lytro.com/ and saw the kind of R where you only have one side of the letter. I though maybe I could do the same, but not sure about the result lol. The other one above is good.
  6. I really love your suggestion. I will try to remove transparency and try to get the same color to make the ribbon effect. About the shutter in the D, I think it's a nice idea, but I think a bit too complexe for logo and can be difficult to see if the logo is too small. I think I will just forget the camera shutter from my logo and keep it super simple.
  7. Maybe the best is to have the two? for example, Affinity Photo for composing, hdr merge (even if they have Aurora HDR), removing/adding object... And use Luminar for fast simple editing. But I have to say that W10 default app is doing a great job sometimes when you want to go fast. The only problem is that you can’t play with vibrance or some parts of the image only. thx
  8. Hi, currently I’m using the default W10 photos app to edit colors of my photography (and it’s doing great), but there is some features missing like mask, focus blur effect and more advanced tool. I’m also using MS ICE to merge panoramic. For advanced color grading, HDR and basic effects, do you recommend getting Affinity Photo or Luminar? From what I saw, Affinity Photos is more about intense editing and Luminar more about color grading tool... what do you think? Get both? thx
  9. I kept my first idea and reduce the space between the lines, reduced the middle line and added a transparency and ribbon look to the vertical line.
  10. Thank you very much. The O was representing the camera lens, but what do you mean by "semi-transparent bars set behind connecting to the slanted bars"? I don't see how it can fit? Or I keep the one with the circle hahaha! I also had that one, but I didn't choose it.
  11. Hello again. Sorry to post in this topic again, but I changed idea. My current logo was But I after testing it in some webpage mockup, I realized that it was a bit weird on a webpage. The logo was fine, but the circle was mostly annoying because of being too tiny to really see it well on favicon or webpage. Also, I decided to re-think my website entirely to focus more on what I love instead of what other people want me to do. My website was a portfolio website, but since I didn't do much project to add in there, it was a bit dead. I don't have a lot of "spectacular" photography, but I'm thinking about adding some nice one and a blog features when travelling. That was also a reason to change logo since my older one doesn't fit as a watermark... Here is what I thought could be nice. I just too the N from my name instead of ND and added a kind of camera lens. Colors are like that because I like travelling and it's a mix of forest, sea, sky, freedom, etc. What are your thought about that?
  12. There should be an option in "effect" to convert into grayscale/black&white in Designer. There is just too many steps to achieve that right now.
  13. Final poster approved by my teacher. I changed some stuffs, but here it is.
  14. I know what you mean, but my robot can't move his head very much. He has a metallic body. I could add the hat on his leg, but after that, the left side of the poster will be empty. Also don't forget that I have a 3 words text on top, so maybe it can reveal more than just the image itself.
  15. Does he looks sad now? He's begging for money to get oil or simply oil.
  16. I know what you mean about ovals. Something like that right? I don't think it will fit for my robot. I know he have long arms and legs, but it's the style I wanted. A bit like this little one on the web.
  17. Thank you for the tips. Will post another image when it will be done. I will play with the contrast and colors to make them more light/darker to be able to remove outlines. Also, since it's a poster contest, it need more impact. I don't know what position the bots should have on it. My goal is to represent what could happens in our world if we have too much robots and AI working at our jobs. They will be so many that there will be some "homeless" bots. It's a fiction, but that's my goal for the poster. EDIT: Got something here.
  18. Hi, I'm trying to draw a robot looking sad in a sad environment. I chose some grey with blue tint to make it more sad, but I don't know if I should keep the black outlines around the shapes. I tried, but it was harder to see shapes without outlines. Do you have any solutions or idea to improve my sad robot? Do you think I should had flat shadow somewhere or change some colors? It's the first time I'm trying to draw something... It's for a project at school and a contest at the same time. Thank you
  19. Hi, It would be nice to get B series format in Designer to make poster or other visual in European size. Thank you
  20. Hi, How do I choose European Format B3 when creating a new document? I only have access to A formats for some reasons. Thank you
  21. Thank you @reglico Your idea was good. I was just trying to understand the mask button I finally found a video explaining the different type of mask. I now know that mask layer can only be edited in pixel persona. There is a lot of way to do mask in Designer and it look way easier than Illustrator. All is done almost instantly!
  22. ok, but what I mean is that. How does it works? Now I understand that you can only take the shape and add it as a mask, but this mask icon like Affinity Photo is very weird. You can't work with that alone. When trying to do something, it add a new layer instead of drawing inside the mask.
  23. Merci! Vraiment plus simple que je pensais. Other than that, what's the point of using the normal mask option is you can only do that?
