Unable to paint in quick mask, have tried altering softness & hardness, tried enlarging brush size, flatting image, merge down, merge visible, have you any ideas as to what the problem is?

I'm having the same problems, trying to download projects from the new photo workbook, tried as wrote in the book but it only takes me to the login page, it should be direct as quoted.
Brilliant delivery of the book, next day cannot be bad.

Hello mark Ingram, it has taken me a few minutes to find this, lm not PC orientated, made me think.crash ref 550bc076-508d-484d-85e6-9ef7b1fd5d. It may be the Microsoft Photos Program as l do a run through with it before going into Affinity Photo[slide show & some times a basic edit], Pro Photo is my colour space that l use.
I have changed over to the new beta software, having minor faults with that also. regards Philip

Glad I'm not the only one having problems with Affinity Photo; they should have made this program work properly before releasing Affinity iPad, l feel that we have been pushed to one side as they are focusing on the iPad version, in the end it is all to do with MONEY, yes we have had your money, wait, wait until we have further updates!!! It looks like l shall have to go back to Adobe, NO PROBLEMS IN THEIR software. Like you it started well, but now six months down the line, not responding even in small tasks; I shall keep it & update when required & retry at a later stage, one can only hope, it started well, ongoing-very poor.

Yes l have updated Affinity Photo, & yes it has opened my images from last version no problem, l have done a few hours playing with it,& l find that it has to wait before responding [ Photo not responding] it comes back, but it does happen even with the minute manipulation at times, L shall continue to use Photo, but l'll have Photoshop CC back on PC as a backup because l cannot rely on Photo working plus the fact its driving me crazy when it plays up; it started so surprizing well & then it caught up
