[MERGING AND DELETING NODES]

Hello,

 

im having a hard time making this one logo because of the nodes. I want them to all connect to make one outline. How do i make all the nodes, ''one''. Also, how do i add paint to the outlines?

I'm trying to snip this logo out of a picture that i made and then smooth out the edges but i dont know how. I want to be able to edit the logo and make it look clearer.
