Surely this has been asked before (I did check the threads). But still: now that Google released the open source jpeg library, can we expect Affinity suite to update their algorithms? I think I won't invest time into Affinity products even if everything else is great if I cannot get good enough quality and/or size at the end (which has been the case in my few experiments). Any comments from the company thank you david

Replying to this thread 1 year later... I just bought Affinity Photo and also noticed very poor image quality for the same file size as Photoshop. Any official comment about this, will it be improved soon or do we accept it staying this way?
