  1. In Photoshop, if a layer has a mask, if I press the \ key, the mask shows as an overlay on the layer which I can then paint on to refine.  Is this possible in Affinity Photo?

If my pixel layer has a mask and I go into quickmask, the overlay covers the entire layer and ignores an existing mask.

I don't often need to do this, however it is useful sometimes when refining masks on complex objects.  If this is not currently possible, I'll post a request as future enhancement.

    Thanks

  2. Depending on the image, that often works, but if there are a lot of long lines or other shapes it is faster and more accurate to be able to draw a path and then use another tool to stroke along that path.    I have used this for other than removing lines, for example to use the sponge tool on the strings of an instrument.  Using the pen and path is much more accurate than brushing by hand.

  3. In Photoshop, if I want to remove something like power lines from a photo, I can use the pen tool to create a path over the object, and then stroke that path with another tool like the spot healing brush to remove the line.   I couldn't find a way to use the pen and then stroke the curve with the inpainting brush to achieve the same result.  Is there a way to do that, or if not, is it being considered as a future enhancement?
