I've not had any luck reproducing this crash yet, is there anything you are doing besides just clicking inside any of them frames and select all that might help me reproduce it?

Any chance of a short video of it happening? Might shed some light on if i'm missing anything

This isn't a known bug, but there might be something inside the file we aren't dealing with it well that's tripping the app up.

I'm still struggling to see what you mean, are you referring to the selection appearing on one screenshot and not the other? I've just done a quick double check and the size of text boxes isn't changing between Mac and Windows from what I can see.

Hi jrkay,

These seem to work for me, they will be disabled if you don't have any fx/style on your clipboard.

If you apply some fx to a shape and copy it they should become enabled.

Thanks for pointing out the shortcut however, it seems ALT+Z is taking priority which is for the zoom menu, I've logged this

I think I've looked at them before to be honest, the failure is here from one the ones I've dug up:

+Error: The installer has insufficient privileges to access this directory: C:\Program Files\Affinity\Publisher Public Beta.  The installation cannot continue.  Log on as administrator or contact your system administrator.

I'm not sure why something would have a lock on this, but it's probably why the restart fixes it as it clears it. I'll see if I can get any extra info on why this might be happening.

Thanks, I've logged how paste inside doesn't seem to give the picture frame handles on the image.

I'm having a go at reproducing this crash but not had any luck so far, but have spotted another issue when looking into this.

Ah ok, that's not something I've seen internally. I'm not sure if we have asked for these before but I can't find them, but can you attach the contents of your install logs found in %temp%\AffinitySetup ?

Certain document types at the moment (pdf, affinity files) will lead to large file sizes even when linked, this is something we are aware of and are looking to improve.

So the top frame you only just inserted? It does seem to have been converted to regular text instead of still being linked to a ToC, if I insert a new one below it works fine for me.

What steps are you taking after you insert the ToC? It might be worth doing the same again and saving with history and re attaching the file.
