Do you find this happens more on a specific document? If so, can you attach that document here? Does it happen more when you are selecting a colour, or just when selecting the colour picker tool? Any additional information to help us reproduce this would be useful.

Hi @davepmiddleton, We have an issue in very similar to what you describe at the moment, which might be related to a font that was used. Does this crash happen if you use Arial? If not can you possibly attach the font you are using? Thanks

As peteros says it could be useful to update your drivers, what are your system specifications? Attaching a crash report could be useful to, if it is getting far enough to generate one, these can be found here: %appdata%\Affinity\Publisher\1.0\CrashReports Thanks

Hi @Mike Sargent, I can't seem to reproduce this behaviour, to clarify are you referring to text that is inside the afphoto file, not the publisher document itself? I've added both and exported to PDF X-3a on default settings and the text wasn't rasterised.

Thanks, I've logged the issue with rasterising, and we are aware of an issue that empty picture frames are exported with diagonal lines.

That's a valid question :P. If this is the same as another document I've seen today the user had it in a state where it was loading, but would crash on save. I am curious if this file is in a similar state. There seems to be a recipe to get a file in a state where it will crash on save that we are currently trying to nail the recipe for.

Thanks bures, I can't reproduce a crash with that file, but I definitely see massive performance decreases when moving the text frame on page 10 compared to others, even after I've cleaned up a few things that I thought would be the cause. We have an issue in similar to this but I think this might have a different cause, so I've logged it for the developers to investigate. Thanks for sending over the file.

We have a similar issue logged with some PDF's that were created from MuseScore using a Maestro font that aren't importing correctly, so this is something we are aware of and can hopefully improve in the future. Judging by MtnArch's comment it sounds like you two might have different versions of the Maestro font?

What version of Internet Explorer are you using?

I'd say since it's on the edit menu and there's a shotcut to paste without formatting that that would be enough, but if enough people agree I don't see why this couldn't be added to the right click menu if the cursor is in a text box
