  1. Is the language of the the character style you have applied to the text also set to English (United Kingdom)?
  2. Hi benembery, Can you attach the file here and I'll take a look. Do you have any additional info about what exactly was being done in the last session before the crash? Did the text box you were editing contain pinned images by any chance? Thanks
  3. That should be how it functions, I'll have a look at reproducing it, but if you could clarify what MacOS version you are on it might help as it could be specific to that. Thanks
  4. Interesting, there is an issue in AFD which likely affects all apps to do with issues saving/exporting in Sierra/High Sierra that we have a few reports of, I think this is what you are seeing. Do you also get this behaviour when exporting? Any chance of a quick video demonstrating it, so I can attach it to the above issue?
  5. Thanks for reporting this, I find I have to click on the frame after deleting the text (which seems to fail), but then it crashes. I've logged this for the developers.
  6. Hi gobertl, Does this happen in another colour mode? Can you let me know what MacOS you are on?
  7. That is correct behaviour yes. The master and the target spread don't have to be the same size.
  8. Hi koop, Can you clarify what you mean by "create a text edit". It sounds like a redrawing type issue if scrolling fixes it (does zooming also fix it?). A video demonstrating this issue might be useful if you could create one. Also what display are you using in Preferences > Performance, if you try swapping between the options does it make the behavior any better?
  9. Hi komakolud, I can't reproduce this with a similar file, afdesign file containing a couple of artboards, open in Publisher, add some picture frames and insert image, select multiple and it seems to work for me. Any chance you can attach the afdesign file you are opening?
  10. No it can be avoided. As far as my testing shows so far, if you insert an image into the app and then edit that image externally and alter the dimensions of it and then save the image file, then the publisher file, it will crash when re-opening the file (or as soon as it has to render the image). Breaking the link prevents this happening so I think this is the (or one of the) recipes to get files into this crashing on open state.
  11. I think I've just found the recipe to get a file in this state and it's been logged for the developers to look into. Thanks for the reports
  12. That isn't crashing for me either! Out of curiosity, does the attached file crashed for you? It's an afpub set up in a similar way to your video with the last file you uploaded place into it. placed.afpub Can you also try File > Place with no text frame on the page, and dragging out a text frame and let me know if you get the same behaviour?
  13. Can either of you attach a document that crashes when you click inside the text frame? To be sure I've not set up anything wrong. Is it possible also to attach the crash reports that are generated here: %AppData%\Affinity\Publisher\1.0\CrashReports\reports NilsFinken you don't happen to use FontBase font manager too?
  14. For now it might be worth, or insert from a local drive. There is something we are investigating with linked images inserted from cloud drives causing the behaviour you have experienced.
  15. Yes no worries Barry it's attached to the report I made.
  16. Hi DarkClown, I've logged 2 issues with the layer selection/locking behaviour, this seems to all be Windows specific, on Mac multi master page layer selection works and locks can't be applied to objects that are on a Master Page unless editing the Master Page. I'm not sure about your last issue, if I double click between Page 1 and Master A I always have a highlight in the pages tab around the active page On another note, the random crashes you seem to get have been logged and are being looked at by our developers, but we are still struggling to reproduce them internally. Thanks
  17. Hi daennak, I've been looking into this, do you mind just attaching a document demonstrating this and clarifying the exact export options you are using, it would help just clarify a couple of things. Thanks!
  18. Hi rayelmitt, This file doesn't crash for me, which is likely because I don't have access to any of the linked images, this is something we've seen a few times over the last couple of days and are investigating. From what I've seen so far, if you can move any of the images you inserted from your google drive to a new location, does the file then open? (You will be warned these images are missing, but it sounds like you already receive a missing images warning)
  19. It might be useful to see where it crashed, but the most helpful thing is if we can reproduce the crash. Have you only seen this the once, if you follow similar steps on your file are you able to reproduce it? Thanks
  20. Could you clarify this for me? Did you lose image links and update them and then this issue happened, or was it when you were first inserting the images?
  21. @bmv2011 I can reproduce that file crashing on open. I've logged it for the developers to look into further. Thanks
  22. Hi, On my Mac all apps are populated when clicking the options part of iCloud and setting it up, however I have noticed when saving that the dialog isn't auto populated with a Publisher save location in iCloud, unlike Photo and Designer, so this could be related. I've logged this.
  23. @bmv2011 can you upload the file that is crashing here and I'll have a look
  24. This lines up with what I'm seeing so far from other uses with this file and my own thoughts of what could be happening, still trying to reproduce it! Can you go to %appdata%\Affinity\Publisher\1.0\CrashReports and attach the most recent crash reports if they exist? Thanks
  25. There will be something to sort here, we have a few reports of users getting a similar experience to you, so we are currently looking into reproducing this issue from scratch so the devs can look at fixing it. Can you zip up that image you attached and re-attach it? Also, after inserting this image did you modify it and update it in any way? Also, if possible, can you go to %appdata%\Affinity\Publisher\1.0\CrashReports and attach the latest reports there? It will help us get to the bottom of this.
