  1. Hi @Last Chance, Apologies for the delay in getting back to you There's been some changes in this area, can you try it in the latest beta and if it still gives you an issue upload the file here Thanks
  2. The autosave issue should be fixed in the latest beta. Have you had the crash since?
  3. Hi @A.Gonzo, Apologies in the delay in getting back to you. The ToC will just be imported as text and won't appear in our ToC panel. Regarding the special characters, do they appear in the docx file? It might be worth attaching it and I can take a look
  4. Apologies for the delay, this should be resolved in the latest beta, if it's not let us know
  5. Can you try in the latest beta, and if you still get the issue upload the file here and I'll take a look Thanks
  6. Hi @Oneofone, Do you still get this in the latest beta? Is it when you save or when you are using the app and autosave kicks in?
  7. Bit late getting round to this but it seems alright for me now, do you still get this in 1.8.3?
  8. Hi @Unahrt, Can you send us the file here and we'll pass it on, it's my understanding this is the 2nd time this has happened with your file. Assuming this is the same as the first time, some of the images inside the file lost backing data which was preventing us from loading it. Can you explain to me how images were inserted into this file and any steps that were taken that you might think help us reproduce it. I believe some images were copied and pasted in from a PDF the first time this happened, was a similar thing done this time? Any information on your workflow with images when creating this file might be of use.
  9. Hi, Welcome to the Serif Affinity forums I'm not seeing this at the moment? Does it matter what button you press? Any chance of a short video demonstrating the issue?
  10. @deadhippo This should be fixed in the latest beta if you can give that a try
  11. Can you also let us know what styles you are using when creating the ToC and if you change these if it has any effect
  12. Hi @maxepopaxe Do you get this with any symbol or a certain one?
  13. This was an issue in the beta but i believe it was fixed, It seems alright from a quick test here. When you import the afdesign file what view are you using in the dropdown on the context menu? Does that change after it has been saved
  14. Hi, I'm struggling to reproduce this following those steps Any chance of creating a short video demonstrating the issue? Thanks
  15. It seems to be the same cause, I can only reproduce the issue following your steps if I resize the text frame first, do you get the same if you create a new frame?
  16. Thanks i can reproduce that with your file, I've passed it on to the developers
  17. Can you upload the file here and i'll take a look Thanks
  18. We have issues logged of other clipboard managers causing crashes, so it is likely. I've installed it and can't reproduce it for a simple file but I have your files from another thread so will see if I get it when I look at that. In the mean time, can you try not running it and see if it helps?
  19. @Squarebear We will indeed need to see this file, as the couple of files we got from customers that crashed on open in 1.8 got fixed in 1.8.2, so this is likely something else Please upload it here and let me know when you've done so, it will only be viewed by serif staff. Thanks
  20. This should be fixed in 1.8.2, if it's not let me know
  21. Thanks for the recovering the file carl/seneca. It looks like it had a corrupt pinned object in which was removed, I'll pass it on so we can be sure.
  22. Hi, apologies for the late reply, If either of you are still experiencing this in 1.8.2 can you upload the file here. I'll see if I can reproduce it. Thanks!
  23. Had to free some space up for that :P. Can you upload some of the afphoto files (you can use the same dropbox link) so I can relink and follow the video you posted in your other thread (the issue seems the same so I will just deal with it in this thread) Thanks!
