Hi @Pears Posters, I can reproduce what you see with the attached file, and I've also spotted if you drag select from the 2nd column to the ones on the right the application crashes. I've logged both of these. I'm struggling to try and reproduce this from scratch, did you make this document from scratch or did it come from another one?

It may be if the file came from an earlier build it could still have an issue in, but as far as I am aware this has been fixed in 1.8.3 - We are investigating an issue where the DPI can be reported incorrectly so there may be more to it. Can you reproduce from scratch in 1.8.3?

Can I clarify if you mean assets or resources? There was an issue fixed in 1.8.2 where modified linked resources could cause a crash on open, and breaking the links to these resources would allow the file to open so they could then be replaced. This sounds like what you are discussing. Do you get this issue in 1.8.3?

If you hold down control whilst running the app up to reset it does it help at all?

If you click the 3rd column, the caret appears at the end of the frame so that column is active and thus the ruler is shown. If you click the first column the caret appears before the placeholder text so that column is now active. There is no way to actually get the caret into the middle frame, since the placeholder text is essentially one object, so it is never the active column you are typing into and the text ruler is never shown. This is why expanding it works since it's now text and you can place the caret into the text in that column, and the ruler is then shown. If the text caret was in the middle frame and the ruler was not showing I'd agree that's a bug.

It's because you can't really select the text in the middle frame as filler text is one "block", so I can see why this happens.

Hi, I've reproduced this, it happens if the document units are set to mm and if you change the document dpi, new linked frames created then scale the text incorrectly, IDML import does a similar thing. I've logged it, thanks for the report

The above link can only be viewed by Serif staff. It will be useful to see the file as it might be related to it and if we can't reproduce the crash it's quite challenging for the developers to fix.

Is that picture taken from inside the Publisher Persona and not the Photo persona?

Hi @mbfjrd, Thanks for those files and descriptions, I've logged a couple of bugs from investigating them. As a workaround for the 1st and 2nd issue you can click on the image inside the frame (where the wrapping has been applied) and edit the wrap outline and adjust it to fit the frame.

This also seems to be importing fine for me on Windows. Any chance of a short video demonstrating the issue so we can see if we've missed anything?

There isn't much use to it, but I'm not convinced it's a bug (I mean, it kind of works....) You could maybe go as far as to say ToC should be disabled with the artistic text object, as it ideally should always be in a frame. That being said if it works then there's a good chance someone could have used it and disabling it could cause confusion. I'll bring it up with the devs

Hi @Dampsquid, I can't reproduce this from scratch at the moment, I've created a new single and non single facing page doc, duplicated the default master and applied a hyperlink and then right click and choose "Apply Master to Pages" (you only mention using Apply Master which applied to master pages not pages, but I've tried both) and specify a couple of pages in the document and it doesn't crash on multiple attempts. Can you reproduce this from a blank document or just the one you are working from?

It does indeed only seem to happen with OpenGL (Basic), it doesn't seem to be a regression though so I assume that wasn't set on the earlier builds you tested it on. I've logged it, thanks for the report!

I've not been able to reproduce this, we need to be able to reproduce it before the developers will be able to fix it. I asked a question in your last thread, Is it only text objects you are unable to interact with or any object? Even if you select it via the Layers tab? On top of this, if you change the values in the transform tab does that move the frame?

I think this is a variant of an issue we already have logged, so I'll tweak that issue to cover this recipe too. Thanks for the report, hope you also had a nice easter!

Hi @manfred.schmid, Can you give us a bit more information about what is wrong? Are images not coming out in the correct colour space? Have you ensured the "Convert image colour spaces" option is set correctly?
