We actually already have a suggestion logged for checking external URLs, but i'll give it a nudge

[IDML import issues]

This is the numbered list, if you edit the "1.0numbered list" text style and then remove the \2 symbol shown in this picture it will remove the 0. You can then press the down arrow next to Text and insert an "En Space", which is what was in the IDML document and was incorrectly read on import

If you could go to Document > Resource Manager and take a screenshot it will show if those files are missing or OK

It's main purpose is to check for links that no longer exist within the document. For example if you create a hyperlink to page 10, then delete page 10 it will report an invalid hyperlink.

Hi @Dleacy,

I've been using the document for a little bit (applying and editing masters) but had no chance yet, is there any steps you can give me that you take to 100% gaurantee a crash from your side?

It might be useful if you could navigate to %AppData%\Affinity\Publisher and zip up and attach the 1.0 folder, it will contain some crash reports. If I can't reproduce the issue they may shed some light on what is happening.

I've logged this, I get the same when copy/pasting, the table being discarded I'm querying.

It's hard for me to check this without the graphics, they show as ? for me as obviously I miss those resources, any chance of a screenshot of the resource manager from your end? Is the status "OK" but they still show a "?"

Regarding the numbered list. There is a bug here with how we've imported an en-space in the numbered text style, it has come in as a 0. I'll pass this on to development. You can remove this in Publisher by editing the numbered list style and removing the "\2" and then replacing it with an en-space from our app.

Unfortunately it's something we are aware of at the moment, we have some issues logged not relating to IDML import of certain files using a lot of memory and subsequently HD space when loading.

I've nudged what we have logged relating to it and passed this file on, thanks for the report!

Is it possible for you to attach the PDF and Publisher file, it will be hard to find out why some people can't correctly view the PDF from the screenshots. Do you know what PDF viewer they were using?

I don't think this is related to the above issue or others we are aware of. I'm struggling to see the cause myself, I've removed styles/objects from the document but it still crashes for me.

I've passed it on to development so we can investigate it further. I'll let you know if there's an easy workaround when we have some more info!
