Hi Alan,
The issue I logged regading this is still open so it's expected that it still errors unfortunately.
QuoteAnother interesting point is if my internet connection was down would this give the same error
I wouldn't worry about this, we won't use the internet to check it is valid we just simply check the URL is RFC 3986 compliant, previously we would have just exported it even though the URL would not have opened a webpage in a browser when clicked since it wasn't valid
The file should export once you remove these faulty hyperlinks (if not it will be a different bug), if you think you've removed them all and it still errors let me know and I don't mind taking a look. You can also enable PDF logging and view the log to determine what page the issue is on, if that helps.

No worries Mike, thanks for letting us know about it in the first place!

Hi @Pyanepsion,
I have looked at this, we are using our internal page numbering to determine when any odd/even breaks should break, so when you add a new section and restart the page numbering it isn't respecting the page numbering of the section it is currently in.
I've raised this with the developers
Thanks for the report

Hi @nwhit,
Myself and a colleague installed all the fonts sent over and have set up some font collections but been unable to reproduce this so far unfortunately, I'll continue to have a look at it this week and see if I can suss out what might be different with your setup compared to ours

Hi there, can you provide the file used in the video here?
Thanks!

I've just created an excel spreadsheet with 4000 records and some simple data and it merged in 10-20seconds, the generated document then took another 30 seconds to "catch up" which I'd expect with a 4000+ page document.
If you want to upload the files you are using here I can try with them

We are aware of this, thanks for the report

Thanks for the report, this is something we have logged.

Thanks for that, I've reproduced the crash and have logged it.

The ruler division for metric units and the regional decimal separator not being used for the ruler are logged with us, thanks for the reports

Do you happen to have the last version of that file that saved correctly? The link in the other thread should still be active if you want to use that. Any info on what kind of actions you were taking before the error appeared when saving will be useful, unfortunately we'll need to reproduce what happened that caused this error to appear to fix it.
If you see it again working on the same file be sure to let us know if you spot any "patterns" in the actions you are taking

Thanks for the report. I can reproduce this and have logged it

Interesting, it's nothing to do with what drive as I can reproduce it. Its "Hyperlink 1" that is causing it, this doesn't seem to be a valid hyperlink (it's not a url, it's just text, I won't paste it here incase it is private).
It looks like in 1.9.2 we export this even though it is invalid, and it just opened the invalid url in a browser prefixed with http://, it's now error'ing because it's invalid
I've raised this as it is a regression, as much as the error is valid.

Hi Alan, can you upload it here and I'll see if I get any errors exporting. You may need to save as package if it has any linked resources or fonts etc.
-
Thanks for the feedback, I've logged the fact some characters are still missing or being replaced when pasted into MSWord

Closing and re-opening the app should essentially rebuild the font list, so if after closing and re-opening it's still displaying duplicated styles I don't think it will be because of a corrupt font cache.
We've had a look around using collections and trying to get duplicates to appear but haven't had any luck, can you upload all the Futura fonts you have installed here? I'll have a go at reproducing it with those installed

Thanks for the recipe/file, I've reproduced this and logged it

Thanks for the file, I can reproduce this and have logged it

Hi @StuartRc,
I have the file you are opening (and linked file). It seems to open OK for me here and has no pixellation, if I zoom it's pixelated whilst zooming around and then is clear when i'm done which I would expect.
Can I just check if the files are all stored locally for you? Do you find the behavior better if you embed?
Thanks

Hi @cai,
This file is opening for me on the current beta and retail, does this not crash for you every time you open it? Do you have a crash report to share?
Thanks
