It sounds like you've done whatever I did to get sliders misbehaving like that, always annoying when you see a bug but then can't reproduce it (well, from the perspective of being able to fix it anyway!)

I'm struggling to reproduce this, if I use the mouse to adjust the slider value by the indicator then it moves with the mouse. When you were dragging the indictator are you saying the value changed but the indicator didn't move with your mouse? I have seen some behaviour like this before (on the history slider), but I couldn't reproduce it after that. Are you able to reproduce this 100%?

Hiya, Feature requests are best made here, since the first feature doesn't exist in Mac or Windows and this forum is mainly for Windows specific issues. We actually already have a feature that is similar to your second suggestions called "Symbols" that were added for 1.5 (so they are very new, so we haven't really had too much chance to create documentation on them yet) You can enable it via View > Studio > Symbols. Basically, the symbols are your "reference container object". I suggest you have a play around with it, it isn't exactly what you've suggested but is definitely close, and in my opinion a really neat new feature that was added.

Hi Hasherz, Can you go to Edit > Preferences > General and let me know what language you are using? Also can I clarify that it crashes when you expand "Language", not change the Language once that is expanded?

Thanks for the kind words! Can you attach the pdf that is hanging? We do have a couple of issues logged with opening pdfs but i'd like to get your file logged with them to make sure we have them all fixed in the future.

The menu is always visible over the text (instead of resizing all the text), if you hide the menu then the help looks pretty much as I would expect, unless i'm missing something?

Dodgy, what resolution and scaling are you using? I'll emulate your setup and have a look. If you could provide a screenshot that would also be really helpful, thanks.

I agree, this is a bug as you should be able to paste in that box. I've logged this for you, thanks for taking the time to report it.

Regarding the language changing in preferences we are aware of an issue where it reverts after changing. It is also worth noting that the program isn't fully localized yet. You can alter the gamma of the UI in preferences if that helps, but you aren't the first to suggest a lighter alternative, and the devs are aware of this.

Hi Steve, I assume you are referring to the cutout studio that DrawPlus had. If you switch to the pixel persona and use the Selection Brush Tool you'll notice it behaves in the same way as the selection tool within the cutout studio that you will be used to, with add and subtract modes to help you make and refine your selection. You can use this to make a selection of the area you want to cut, then just delete that area from the rasterized layer :)

Can you hold CTRL whilst running up the program and let me know if you still get it? (this will reset defaults)

Can you have a look at the attached gif and let me know if you are doing anything differently? I've also reproduced the first issue you mentioned where tooltips etc. were much larger than intended, i've logged this now so thanks for reporting it!

How are you applying the colour before you move to the swatches tab? Are you using the colour wheel? Did you get an option to recover the document during your next run up after the error?

Hi Lieven, We are aware of the issue where you change colour profiles and the change is not remembered. Can you let me know what resolution and scaling you are using on your surface pro? I'll try emulate a setup that has both your screens and see if I can replicate the UI behaviour you are experiencing. Unfortunately I can't replicate any of the colour issue your having, where are you trying to apply the fill after drawing the rectangle?

Hi adreamer, I'm not having any issues selecting a node on a curve and continuing drawing with the pen tool, although there is currently an issue where if you click too fast after creating a new node it will think you are double clicking and create a new separate node instead of creating one that joins the current curve, does that sound like what you are experiencing?

A few people have mentioned this, the gamma can be changed in the Preferences > UI which can make it a little more visible.
