  1. Hiya, Thanks for reporting this, we already have it logged and it should hopefully be fixed in a new build soon :). Thanks
  2. I'm suspecting it is a dependency that our prereq installer failed to update, I would advise for the next step to uninstall and reinstall the .NET Framework (4.5.2) and C++ Redist. Unfortunately I can't for the life of me download from that site, it just keeps looping and asking for the security question, if you could attach that file it may be useful, thanks! After it crashes, if you can go to %appdata%\Serif\Affinity Designer\1.0 (Beta)\CrashReports and let me know if you have a crash report in there, and if so attach it that would also be useful
  3. Ah that is great news, thought it could be something along those lines. Can you let me know what the username was? I'll get it reproduced here and logged.
  4. When you click on an icon in the export dialog, to calculate the filesize I believe it creates a temp file. I thought it might be at that case when it is tripping up. We have had issues with non unicode characters in directory paths, so I am curious to know if your %temp% directory has any of those characters. After a crash the crashreport is actually stored in %appdata%\Serif\Affinity Designer\1.0 (Beta)\CrashReports, if you have any files in here please attach them as it will help us investigate this. Thanks
  5. Hi Aurex, Can you try downloading the new 1.5.0.5 build and let me know if that works? We fixed some issues with crashes on run up so hopefully that has resolved your issue
  6. Hiya, Thanks for reporting this, I've replicated it and will get it logged :)
  7. Hi Procyons, Sorry you are getting this issue! Has the file already been saved? If so where is the file located? Does this happen when saving a new file or only this specific file?
  8. Hiya Shalom, I've had a quick chat with the developers, can you open the run dialog and type %temp% and let me know where it takes you? Do you get any crashes with clicking any other filetypes on the File > Export dialog? Thanks, sorry for all the questions, we are trying to get to the bottom of it!
  9. Heya, Thanks for the info, I didn't use the same resolutions but i've reproduced this by plugging a monitor into a laptop and setting it as primary, I find initially the Paragraph tab comes in docked and it isn't an issue, but if I undock it and remove it, then click "Paragraph" again it appears on the secondary monitor. I'll get this logged, thanks for taking the time to report it.
  10. Hi dominik, Thanks for reporting this, i've logged it for the developers to look at :)
  11. Hi jwst, This isn't intentional and sounds like a bug. Can you let me know what resolution and scaling % you are using on your laptop and monitor so I can try replicate it inhouse? Thanks
  12. Thanks Shalom3, sorry for the confusion but Chris K was right, I just wanted to check if you actually got to name the exported file, which obviously shown from your screenshot you didn't. This is quite unique, would you be able to let us know what OS you are using, and what specs you computer is running at? Have you also sent off a crash report? Thanks, and sorry you are experiencing issues!
  13. Ah good, can you let me know the full path on D:\ you were running it from when it gave you issues? Or was it just the root of D:\?
  14. Hi Shalom, Both those files export for me from 1.5.0.4, do you not even get to see the Save As dialog?
  15. Hi Keith, Can you attach the afdesign you were working from? It will make it a bit easier to replicate this. Thanks
  16. Hi Noctous, Mark has looked into the crash dump and it seems to be down to an incorrect .NET version, can you go to control panel and let me know what .NET version is installed? It might be worth re-installing .NET (or uninstalling and letting our installer reinstall it), this should hopefully resolve the crash.
  17. Yup I can reproduce it from a new document now, you need to have 2 artboards and place the rulers on the second artboard, then you can reproduce this behaviour. I'll get it logged for the developers to look into, thanks for reporting it, sussing out it was file specific and then attaching the file :). Thanks
  18. Hmm still no luck, so it looks like we might have to get that printer in to try reproduce this in house. I'll get the crash reports looked at and hopefully that will give the developers an indication as to what is going wrong. Out of curiosity what is the exact model of the functioning printer?
  19. Hi Dullard, I've got this driver set up on a VM (although without the actual printer to test with at the moment). Would you mind attaching the document you are attempting to print? Can you also be sure to send off the crash report, which should get prompted on your next run up after the crash. Thanks
  20. Hmm, I'm still struggling to reproduce it, can you look at the attached gif and let me know if you think i'm missing anything? Also just double check your snapping options are set correctly :).
  21. Hiya, Sorry you are having trouble installing. Would you be able to go to %temp% and send me the folder that is inside AffinitySetup? Can you also let me know where you are running the install from?
  22. Hi Matej, The first issue was logged a short while ago but should be fixed now, if I create or move an already existing text frame it snaps to guides fine for me, can you just double check this for me? The second issue is already logged, the use of the guide manager with multiple artboard documents isn't ideal and could do with a bit of work.
  23. Fair point, I agree with the File Open/Export paths being saved separately so will put an improvement in, not as certain on a different default for each file export path, but I'll log it with the improvement . Thanks
  24. Hi Zegond, It looks like the slider misbehaviour as shown in your vid is down to the slider being used whilst text is highlighted. I've reported this, thanks for taking the time to report it.
  25. Hiya, This just seems like a slight rendering issue as there is no issue with exported files. It also affects the mac version too. I've logged it for the developers to look into further, thanks for reporting it.
