    When you re-open it (after overwriting it and closing it) are you re-opening it in the Beta still or trying to re-open it in 1.4? Thanks

    Hiya Timber, I've done a couple of tests with exports from 1.4.2 and 1.5.0 (beta 10), the beta was only released today so it might be worth double checking if you still get this behaviour on the new beta. If so can you upload the file you are exporting to dropbox and PM me the link so I can look into it? My tests produced quite similar sized PDFs so i'd like to see if I've missed anything compared to what you are exporting. Your printer shouldn't have any issues with X pdfs as they are fairly industry standard for printers (see here). Thanks!

    I might be missing something but I created a file on OSX using some non latin characters and it displayed alright for me on Windows, so do you mind attaching an example file? Thanks

    Hi Barlew, I moved this to a new post so it didn't get lost in the beta release thread. I've just had an attempt and can't seem to reproduce this, would you mind attaching the file you are exporting (or uploading it to dropbox and PM'ing me the link) and letting me know any specific export settings you are using? Thanks

    Hi Lojza, #1 - I'll check if this is already logged and add it if not, thanks! #2 - This is already logged with us, it's a bit dangerous as you can end up with corrupted objects. #3 - I can't reproduce this one, after making a copy and modifying it, are you giving it a new filename or overwriting the file that you opened? Thanks for taking the time to report these.

    Hi Jonopen, I've just given our Wacom pen a test and it seems fine, do you also get the lag if you don't use the wacom pen? Can you just try giving the program a soft reset by holding down the CTRL key and running the program up, if it still seems to be behaving slow can you attach or PM me the following file: "C:\Users\USERNAME\AppData\Roaming\Serif\Affinity Designer\1.0 (Beta)\SystemInformation.txt" Thanks

    Hi Matej, I thought I could reproduce this, but it turned out my nodes weren't properly snapped together so it creates 2 nodes when doing the boolean operation. I might have missed a trick, but could you attach a file that is set up just before you do the boolean add operation? Thanks!

    We have a similar report in at the moment, but we are getting slightly differing behavior when testing it with your file. I can export file but a colleague has reproduced what you are experiencing. We will continue to look into this, I'll let you know if we have any updates

    Thanks for that, It looks like we aren't reading in the style of the font correctly, you'll notice if you highlight one of the incorrect notes (for example one of the many letter "K"), next to the font size you'll see a blank dropdown. If you change that to "Regular" you'll notice it then gets fixed. I've logged this to be further looked into and will let you know if we get any more information.

    Hi Gray_Master, Sorry for the slight delay. I've just opened your pdf file and exporting to jpeg/png/pdf from it without a crash. Can you let me know what format and export settings you are exporting to? Thanks

    Hi meat, Can you let me know the filesize of what you have downloaded? It could just be the download got corrupted so attempting to re-download it could solve the problem.

    Hiya, sorry for the delay in reply, There's been a few changes in this area but unfortunately the developer who was mainly responsible isn't in at the moment. I've logged this to be looked into and we'll get back to you once we have a bit more information.

    Hi Jantje, Can you download the latest beta from here. I think you are running an older build and this issue should be fixed in the newest one. If you still have troubles please let us know.

    Hi Lenius, Could you let me know how you are exporting it? I've just given this a quick test and it exported the slice for me. Edit: Cancel that, i missed that you were also exporting as PDF, this issue is already logged with us. Thanks

    Thanks for reporting this, it seems to be using the newly created artboard for the viewpoint which is definitely wrong, so i'll get this logged for the developers to look into.

    Hi nufuture, There aren't any plans to change this that I am aware of, but feel free to post this in the features and requests section of our forum, i'd be curious what other apps do this. Thanks
