  1. Thanks for the extra info, i'll try doing a similar process and see if I can reproduce anything.

If it popped up with a message about an unhandled exception it should have prompted to send the report on next run up. If it just froze and you got a generic Windows "the program is not responding" it might not have had a report to send.

Glad you are enjoying it though, hopefully you won't encounter this issue again! But let us know if you do

  2. Hi Nick,

If you open the run prompt and type in %appdata% it should take you to %AppData%\Roaming, then just navigate to%AppData%\Roaming\Affinity\Photo\Beta (1.0) and back up the user/settings/workspace folder in there.

Once the full release is installed there will be a 1.0 folder without (Beta), just copy these folders back over to the new 1.0 folder and let it overwrite files, this will restore your user settings

I would advise making sure to only do this once we have a release candidate beta out. Although there is never any harm in keeping this folder backed up, as it is where we store most user settings.

  3. Hi,

Apologies for the late reply. I've had a look at some example files shot using that lens and most display the correct lens. One didn't display correctly but when looking at the file it was missing quite a lot of EXIF data.

Any chance of you attaching the file so I can look into why we might be showing an incorrect lens?

  4. During the beta we hope things such as loading times will improve, assuming we find issues that we can prove are impacting the load time and get them resolved.

The load time will always be slightly different per machine based on a few variables, can you let us know what specs your machine is and what kind of load time you are experiencing?

  5. Hi Paul,

As far as I am aware this is how this dialog is meant to work. The idea being that you will be looking to refine a selection to a certain point, and you probably won't want to continually refine it with the same values to achieve that, the values you want to refine with will be different each time the dialog is used.

However if you had multiple mask layers then I can see it would have a use to remember the settings, it might be a future improvement we can look at. I'd be interested in hearing some feedback from other users.
