  1. Hiya, I can't reproduce this with some test files i've sourced so do you mind attaching an example file for us to reproduce this with? Thanks
  2. Thanks for reporting this, i've reproduced it and logged it for the developers.
  3. Hi Maxen, I can reproduce this, it seemed fine for me last build so looks like a sneaky regression. Thanks for letting us know, i'll get it logged! :)
  4. Thanks for the extra info, i'll try doing a similar process and see if I can reproduce anything. If it popped up with a message about an unhandled exception it should have prompted to send the report on next run up. If it just froze and you got a generic Windows "the program is not responding" it might not have had a report to send. Glad you are enjoying it though, hopefully you won't encounter this issue again! But let us know if you do
  5. Hi Alain, I've tried a basic recipe of opening a file, editing, exporting, saving, closing, re-opening and repeating that a few times and have had no luck reproducing a crash yet. Are you able to reproduce this consistently with the same file? Or was it more of a one off? Thanks!
  6. Hi, Thanks for making sure this got reported. I logged it last week so the fix shouldn't hopefully be too far away! :)
  7. Hi, Can you let me know what OS you are on and what drivers you are using with that tablet? Thanks
  8. Hi, Thanks for reporting this, I logged it late last week so it shouldn't hopefully be too much longer before it's fixed and in a build :).
  9. Hi Michael, It sounds to me like you are just looking for the Resize Canvas option found in the Document menu? If not I might have misunderstood a bit so just let me know what option you are using in the other program :). Thanks
  10. I replied to your other thread https://forum.affinity.serif.com/index.php?/topic/29737-preserving-adjustment-layer-presets-in-beta-version/?p=144877
  11. Hi Nick, If you open the run prompt and type in %appdata% it should take you to %AppData%\Roaming, then just navigate to%AppData%\Roaming\Affinity\Photo\Beta (1.0) and back up the user/settings/workspace folder in there. Once the full release is installed there will be a 1.0 folder without (Beta), just copy these folders back over to the new 1.0 folder and let it overwrite files, this will restore your user settings I would advise making sure to only do this once we have a release candidate beta out. Although there is never any harm in keeping this folder backed up, as it is where we store most user settings.
  12. Hi, Thanks for posting this, I've done a bit of poking and it does seem that when you open a RAW file directly into the Develop Persona it works as intended. If however we load a jpg, go to Develop and then use it nothing happens. Thanks for the spot, I'll get this logged.
  13. Hiya, It's the same in the mac version, so i've logged an improvement as based on the range of numbers in the slider I agree it would be nicer to have it increment/decrement in lower amounts. Thanks!
  14. Hi JQL, Thanks for the gif, was nice and easy to see what you were referring too :). If i re-do this with the inpainting tool it seems to look much better, so it might very well just be the case that the sample was saved when the tool had a slight issue. Either way i've logged it for the developers to look into further. Apologies for the late reply.
  15. Hi Greg, Sorry for the delay! I've grabbed a few test images of that camera and i don't see a massive difference in the colour balance. Any chance you can attach the image you are opening so I can look into a bit further? Thanks!
  16. Hi Paul, This is just a slight visual issue, if you zoom in/out you'll find you only see it at certain zoom %'s. Development are aware of it and can hopefully fix it in a future build. Thanks for reporting it, and apologies for the delay in getting back to you :).
  17. Hi Leslie, Sorry for the delay in our response. Are you still able to reproduce this? I've just followed your recipe and didn't experience a crash. If you can, is there any chance of you creating a short video showing us the issue in action? Thanks
  18. Hi Martin, Apologies for the delay! This is an issue that isn't unique to the windows build and is currently logged. Thanks for making sure it got reported :)
  19. Hi, Apologies for the late reply. I've had a look at some example files shot using that lens and most display the correct lens. One didn't display correctly but when looking at the file it was missing quite a lot of EXIF data. Any chance of you attaching the file so I can look into why we might be showing an incorrect lens?
  20. Hi Opera, I might be missing something simple, but i'm struggling to reproduce this at the moment. If i have a png and afphoto (same size), Document > Resize Document, set CM and alter the left value and press tab, the right box number is the same for both images.
  21. Hi, It's most likely that if the fix has been made it simply isn't in a beta build yet, but I will look into it and get back to you. Thanks
  22. During the beta we hope things such as loading times will improve, assuming we find issues that we can prove are impacting the load time and get them resolved. The load time will always be slightly different per machine based on a few variables, can you let us know what specs your machine is and what kind of load time you are experiencing?
  23. Hi, Thanks for reporting this, i've logged it for the developers to look into :)
  24. Hi Paul, As far as I am aware this is how this dialog is meant to work. The idea being that you will be looking to refine a selection to a certain point, and you probably won't want to continually refine it with the same values to achieve that, the values you want to refine with will be different each time the dialog is used. However if you had multiple mask layers then I can see it would have a use to remember the settings, it might be a future improvement we can look at. I'd be interested in hearing some feedback from other users.
