I will need the linked resources if you could also upload those to the same link, thanks
-
Interesting, if you want to upload the file here I'll export with those settings and take a look

I'm glad it works in the beta, however the error will have been because a hyperlink in that document is not RFC compliant.
If you look at preflight in the beta it should warn you about this in the beta. It will not be exporting the hyperlink in the beta (as apposed to retail where it would attempt to export it and valid due to it being invalid)

Can you upload the file that is crashing on open? I'll take and see if there's any clues there as to what's happened. You can use this link to keep it private
-
Could you provide the whole crash report?
It might be useful to see one of these documents, if you could upload it here I'll see if it crashes for me
Thanks
-
I'd suggest if the export is different between apps it is most likely the settings used, can you check that Publisher is using similar export settings compared to AD?

I can't reproduce from a quick test so if you upload the document here I'll take a look
Thanks

I'm struggling to see exactly what has changed, but if you reset the pen tool object defaults then it will fix it.
With the pen tool active, Documents > Defaults > Revert / Factory Reset
This will reset the defaults for the tool and it then works fine in your document for me.
I'll update you if I can figure out what changed

As Carl says this seems to be working for me too so it may be best if we see your file, if you want to keep your file private you can use this link to upload
-
Thanks for the report, I've logged this

Hi @elvarg
What version are you on? We've released a patch today (1.10.1) that should contain a fix for this
Thanks
-
The preflight warnings will be relating to missing images in one of your placed afpub files. So if you are displaying a page from those afpub files in your file and it contains a missing image then it won't output at high quality since it's missing the source image.

Hi @SKPB,
I'm struggling to reproduce this, do you have an example document that you are using for step 1 that might help me reproduce the issue?
Thanks
-
Hi @coolieranx,
If you go to the preflight profile and change Linked Resources to not look inside placed documents do you find that removes the preflight errors?
If you can upload the file and linked resources here I can take a look
Thanks
-
There's definitely something else to it, as I saw it once but also can't get it now, let me know if you see it again and I've logged the crash for now
-
This opens fairly swiftly for me but indeed is missing images, could you possibly attach the linked images?
-
Thanks, I've reproduced this and logged it although I am finding now that i'm struggling to reproduce it every time. Out of curiosity can you reproduce it consistently in the current beta?
-
Can you upload the text file here, I'll try reproduce the crash
Thanks

Thanks, I've PM'd you a re saved version of the file that should hopefully open.
If this still crashes on open for you let me know

Thanks @joaocrsilva,
I've sent you a PM with a re saved version of your file in, can you let me know if that loads for you without crashing? If it does not can you attach the crash report that is generated when it is opened?
