  1. Hi again, @Steps Is it possible for you to attach the file that is crashing when you open/scroll through it here? Or upload it via dropbox if it's too large or personal (https://www.dropbox.com/request/yl8WlVWrUHydQMlbOQLP) The program shouldn't be crashing handling large files (within reason), so I'd like to see if I can reproduce the crash with your file locally or on a resource limited VM.
  2. Hi Wosven, I've reproduced images being exported as negative when exporting to SVG. I've logged this for the developers to look into further. I'm still investigating the aliasing on export and will update you on this. Can I clarify here, you are unable to open/re-save the E-Paper_ANP0834.pdf in .206 as the program takes too much time to open it? I've not had those issues here on .206 but am substituting a lot of fonts at the moment.
  3. Hi Wosven, Apologies for the late reply. Are you able to confirm if you still get issues in the current build? I've exported from the linked pdf and not encountered any negative images, what file format were you exporting to? If you are still getting the aliasing/lines on export with selections is it possible for you to attach (or I can provide a dropbox link if you'd prefer it to not be public) the file you are exporting from? Thanks
  4. Hi thomaso, Apologies that it took a while to look into this. We've had some similar reports regarding this and there have been some changes in this area, however point B) is still reproducible so I've got this logged for the developers to take a further look into. The tint % should be visible along with the cmyk info so i'll look into the second issue and get it logged if it doesn't seem to be. Thanks
  5. Hi Eduard, Could you let me know what you have set for the Display option in Preferences > Performance? If it's set to Metal could you try openGL, and vice versa - then let me know if you still get similar behaviour? Thanks
  6. Hi Eva, Does the program only run after you have restarted your computer? Do you notice any specific patterns behind the crashing, does it happen after some extended use, etc? How much memory do you have available on the system you are using Publisher on?
  7. Hi Tony, Is it possible for you to attach the source file? I can see the issues in your exported pdf which is attached but having access to the source PDF you imported will be useful. Thanks
  8. Hi Mark, Thanks, not sure what I missed last time but i've reproduced it now and logged it for the developers to look at.
  9. Hi Alex, The developers have fixed the file, which I'll PM to you shortly. We are a little unsure of the steps taken that caused it to crash when opened, but should hopefully be preventing this happening again in a future build. If however you do encounter this issue again it would be great if you could note down any steps you did before the save that might help us reproduce it from scratch. Thanks!
  10. Hi Frederick, This isn't a known issue, it seems to be something fairly unique to your machine. The faulting module is a windows one so my guess is that it's a potential OS problem. Can you confirm if your Windows is fully up to date? Thanks
  11. I'm glad it went away after re-selecting the printer. It sounds like it is related to the specific printer/driver you are using as I can't reproduce this following similar steps. Do you happen to know what printer and print driver version you are on? Thanks
  12. Hi Mark, I'm struggling to reproduce this at the moment. I can see the issue in your screenshots but can't reproduce it with a 4 page facing document. Can you give me the steps you are taking when you are setting the ruler origins? I'm adding a text frame to the page and then dragging the origin and snapping it to that frame, and the rulers are displaying the origin correctly for both X and Y. Thanks
  13. Thanks for that, I've opened it in 1.7.0.167 (which it sounds like worked for you) but it still crashes. I've logged this for the developers to take a look at further.
  14. Hi Chris, Thanks for reporting this and for the sample file. I've reproduced this and logged it for the developers to look into further.
  15. Hi Markio, Thanks for reporting this and the steps to follow, I've logged the crash for the developers to look into further. The 0 width on the footer on page 7 is interesting, It might be intentional but i'll look into it further. Thanks
  16. Hi, I've not been able to reproduce this setting the size via the app using the "Custom" setting. If this is still an issue for you in the current beta can you let me know the steps you are taking when you change the paper size? Thanks
  17. Hi, Are you able to give an example of an error with the hit rate of a textbox in a PDF? Thanks!
  18. Hi David, I've had a bit of a play around doing similar steps to yourself and haven't encountered similar behaviour yet. If you perform the same actions on the recovered/saved file are you able to reproduce this behaviour? Thanks
  19. Hi Alex, It would easiest for us to have a look at the file. If you could upload it here we can take a look into what might be causing it: https://www.dropbox.com/request/xJcQpCVh1VbAtdYYCypw Thanks
  20. Hi John, I split this into a new thread so it can be kept separate from the initial post, as they seem to be slightly different issues. Is it possible for you to attach the document that you have set up that you are printing, and also let me know what print settings you are using within the Print > Layout dialog? Thanks
  21. Hi Chris, We currently have an issue logged that has a very similar recipe to what you described, so this is already logged for the developers to look into. Thanks
  22. Hi, Is it possible for you to attach the file you are working from? We have seen this, however it is a lot easier for the developers to potentially fix an issue once we have a recipe that can consistently reproduce the issue. So far I've only seen this once or twice and haven't been able to consistently reproduce it. Thanks
  23. Hi, Thanks for reporting this, it does seem inconsistent so i've logged it for the developers to look into.
  24. Hi John, I have encountered a crash before whilst doing similar steps on a table, but have yet to find a recipe for it that reproduces it consistently. Does this only happen for you in a certain document? Do you have text inside with a custom text style applied?
  25. Hi, apologies in the delay getting back to you. This isn't a problem I am aware of, is it possible for for you to attach the publisher file you are exporting from so I can see if I can reproduce it? Thanks
