  1. @cdrummond The issue reported from this thread has been fixed, so if you are experiencing it still it may be a different issue. Can you create a new thread about this or reply to my response to you here and we can take a look
  2. Hi @crystalenka, I've split your comment into its own thread, can you upload your file here and we'll take a look Thanks
  3. Can you upload your document here @cdrummond. I'll check if it's the same issue and see if i can offer a workaround
  4. Thanks for the report and video I've reproduced this and have logged it
  5. Thanks for the report, this is logged with us
  6. There is no mass delete anchor button, although you should be able to multi select in the dialog and press the delete button to delete multiple at once. But yes I would advise removing the ToC, clearing up all that is left (assuming they aren't other anchors you need!) and then re inserting the ToC, ticking to include PDF Bookmarks and then the only anchors that exist in the anchor panel should be those that the ToC is using
  7. Do you mind opening it in the latest beta found here and if it still crashes uploading the crash report and file? Thanks
  8. Hi @tonywaghorn, I assume this is related to a specific document and you can't reproduce it in a new document? If so can you upload the file here and I'll have a go at reproducing it with your file Thanks
  9. The bug that caused this should hopefully be fixed in the latest beta found here. Unfortunately you will need to manually delete these anchors via the anchor panel to clear them up (you can always just delete all anchors and then re generate the ToC to get it to add the correct ones in).
  10. Hi @aka_zenko, Looking at the crash reports, I assume this crash is specific to a certain document? If so can you upload it to the above link so we can have a go at reproducing it Thanks
  11. @tonywaghorn Can you try exporting in the latest beta and let me know if it still errors for you?
  12. Good to know, it could be worth looking at preflight in the beta, it might warn you of an invalid URL that it is not exporting (this would have previously caused the error in the production version)
  13. Hi @ABZ, Apologies for the late reply, bumping old threads can mean they get missed by our ticketing system, we always advise creating a new thread if possible. Your afpub exports a PDF with hyperlinks correctly for me on both Mac and Windows, but I can see that your PDF does indeed seem to be broken. Can you re-export your PDF from Mac and use the PDF (for export) profile, I think what might have happened here is it was exported and set to not include hyperlinks, but a viewer is adding hyperlinks itself but not doing it correctly. It can be a bit confusing as even if you export without hyperlinks enabled, the hyperlink formatting is still applied to urls within the document, combined with the viewer then noticing it's a URL and attempting to create the link itself can lead it to look like links have been broken when they go over 2 lines. If the newly exported pdf with the (for export) profile is still broken can you upload it here and let me know what PDF viewer you are using to view it? It will also be useful if you could save the afpub as a package and upload that, as I am missing fonts used in the afpublisher file. Thanks
  14. I'm still struggling to reproduce this unfortunately, it could be worth just resetting Publisher (hold down CTRL whilst running the app and tick all the boxes). This will clear any user settings however so be aware! Also out of curiosity if you export to any of the preset profiles can you reproduce it in Publisher?
  15. Do you mind just trying opening the file in the beta we released yesterday found here and letting me know if it still crashes there? Thanks
  16. Hmmm, it's not what other users have been experiencing then, can you please navigate to %AppData%\Roaming\Affinity\Publisher\1.0 (or 1.0 beta if you are using the beta to open it) and provide the crash reports generated after opening it?
  17. I've sent you a PM @guesthollow that should have a (hopefully) fixed version of your file that will no longer crash on open. The issue wasn't in your file, it's a bug on our end that manifests when loading certain files after upgrading the application
  18. Preflight should warn you of the hyperlink causing issues, if it does not you can enable PDF Logging which will advise you what page the faulty hyperlink is on
  19. Sorry for the late reply, but that is odd. I would expect it to be referring to one of the placed documents. There's an upload link above and if you want to upload the file and linked resources there I'll see if I can see the error
  20. Thanks, I think I might be able to send fixed versions of these files back, but a couple of files were uploaded to the above link and I don't want to send the wrong file back to the wrong person, so if anyone who uploaded could let me know what filename they used I can PM the (hopefully) fixed file back
  21. Do you happen to know what is hyperlinked that is failing the export but not warning in preflight? There is a couple of tweaks in the latest beta in this area If you aren't sure what hyperlink is causing this error can you upload the file here so I can take a look?
  22. If the OP and anyone else in this thread want to upload the files that are crashing on open here we can take a look Thanks
  23. As Old Bruce says you should have the global colour listed in the Style Settings at the bottom of the dialog after selecting it, do you find this isn't the case?
