  1. Hi,

This is by design at present, however we're keeping under constant review what you can do with content downloaded via your account, and so I have passed this feedback on to our development team.

Having said that, the option to Edit them should be disabled. It is on my machine. Would you mind attaching a screenshot of the right-click menu in case it's affecting specific macros?

    Thanks a lot

  2. Hi @Cobra Pilot,

I'm glad you were able to resolve this, but I'd like to try and reproduce the issue myself so we can see what happened. I'm currently having difficulty doing so though, so would you mind confirming a few things for me please?

    1. In which order did you register the two applications? I.e. Did you do iOS or macOS first?
    2. What operating system versions do you have running on each of the two platforms?
    3. Had you installed any of the available free content on either of the platforms?
    4. What content do you now have available to you when you look at your account?

    Thanks in advance

Imagine you have an e-mail address that happens to contain the word "affinity". Now enter that e-mail address in the new app registration dialogue and place the cursor at the beginning. Now slowly move to the right with the arrow key. The cursor won't go in the middle of the letters "ffi" but you'll still have to press the right key three times. Looks like the rendering of the input field has some trouble with ligatures.

Thanks for reporting this. I can reproduce that here and have reported it to our development team. I've also raised the issue regarding keepass autotype.

    Thanks again

  4. Hi @Nativo,

I've not got a definite timeframe I'm afraid, although we're hoping for a release of 1.9.1 some time next week if testing goes to plan. That release should fix this issue, although you may find that the app will still crash the first time you try it, but then use a fallback code path on subsequent registrations.

You might also want to try the latest beta to see if that resolves your issue.

More information can be found here: https://forum.affinity.serif.com/index.php?/topic/134424-known-issues-common-issues-found-in-the-affinity-190-update/

    Thanks a lot

  5. Hi @rocsal50,

Unfortunately this is a known issue affecting a few of our customers. We are currently working on a fix for version 1.9.1 which we hope to release some time next week if testing goes to plan. That release should fix this issue, although you may find that the app will still crash the first time you try it, but then use a fallback code path on subsequent registrations.

You might also want to try the latest beta to see if that resolves your issue. More information can be found here: https://forum.affinity.serif.com/index.php?/topic/134424-known-issues-common-issues-found-in-the-affinity-190-update/

  6. Hi @czaromir,

We're currently looking into this and have a couple of questions. If you wouldn't mind answering the following that would be much appreciated!

    1. Did you buy the app from the Microsoft Store?
    2. What version of Microsoft Store do you have running (found towards the bottom of the Settings page)?
    3. What's the version number of c:\windows\system32\RuntimeBroker.exe?
    4. Are you running any anti-virus software? If so, what is it?

    Thanks in advance

  10. Hi,

Thanks for everybody's help with this. We're still looking into it and have a couple of questions.

Can anyone in this thread who hasn't already please answer the following questions (assuming you're still having problems registering of course!)? Note there's an extra question I haven't previously asked!

    1. Did you buy the app from the Microsoft Store?
    2. What version of Microsoft Store do you have running (found towards the bottom of the Settings page)?
    3. What's the version number of c:\windows\system32\RuntimeBroker.exe?
