Cmd-D works like it does in Photoshop to remove all selected areas, or where you thinking about removing specific selected areas? -

One thing I noticed when I select an area, if I Cmd-C and Cmd V that selection it copies the entire image, rather than the selected area. Am I doing something wrong? -
