    Just as I wrote earlier.

The path, even though it is more complicated and self-inflated, has its definite end (red).
The direction from the beginning to the end is clear, and arrow is always located on the right side of the segment.

I'm not with a PC, so I had to use pictures from web Designer Help.

    Why is it like this?
I understand that until the shape is closed, it can not be determined what is inside and outside.
But it could be taken from the direction of the line (left and right).

It depends on what units you have defined in the document. These may be the required pixels.
Alternatively, you can enter a value in any dimension (only you need to type it), and application convert it.

That's why I suggested that the topic creation form contain some standard checkboxs to help the author easily enter these specific tags.

Pšenda reacted to R C-R in Where oh where do I go for support????
In olden days, we paid dearly for phone calls for technical support, either indirectly as part of the retail price or directly on a per call or supplemental purchased subscription/contract basis. Plus, in those days the apps were considerably less complex, there were far fewer users who could justify the cost of the apps & the computers they ran on, & they did not have built-in support for multiple languages.

These days, companies that offer free phone technical support are few & far between, mostly because it is very expensive to do that, particularly on an international basis, & those costs must be passed on to the user somehow.  Among the few that do, it would be quite unusual to get through to a customer support representative without waiting for considerably more than 10 minutes in a phone queue ... most likely listening to poorly reproduced music you don't particularly like, interrupted periodically by a recorded voice asking you to stay on the line because your call is important to them. When you finally do get to talk with a human, there is a good chance that they will misunderstand your problem, or offer little more than reading from a script that basically said the same things you already know, or put you on hold for an indeterminate amount of time while they research the issue.

It would be good if we really did have patch installers instead of the 200MB+ full downloads that we have now.

Multiple output file format with specific and different path is not problem:

But must be on the same drive :-(
Path definitions not acepted drive selector C:\, ":" is eliminated.

Actually, I could give you a list of features that show that we are not "just copying Illustrator", but I feel I'd be wasting valuable time that I could otherwise spend working on new features.

Pšenda got a reaction from John Rostron in Create New Topic
When creating new forum topic, most authors forget about what product the topic is about, which often makes the answers more difficult and leads to further questions.
Would not it be advisable to allow product type to be entered using checkboxes directly on the input form?

If the layer is selected, just "click" on its name.
Double-click in everytime would be better,  because the name is often edited while the layers are being moved.

Perhaps it would be a good magnifying glass (it should be more universal).
Pressing the hotkey (toggling) would increase/decrease area under the cursor.

Image is for illustrative purposes only - it magnifies only displayed pixels.
Correct magnifying glass would redraw the displayed content with the corresponding details - that is with the middle handle.

Eyes are still pretty good :-), but the Affinity GUI is not optimal.
Thus look sufficiently contrasting interface (PhaseOne).
