  1. One of the many cases where the forum's search engine fails completely. Try searching with Google Search instead, which gives far more relevant results. https://www.google.com/search?q=3D+site:https://forum.affinity.serif.com https://www.google.com/search?q=3D+effects+site:https://forum.affinity.serif.com

  3. It's not just about "decimal places". Bad UI design in the Transform panel just shows only 7 digits and then stops showing units (pt or px?, mm or m?).
  4. What good would knowing Build be good for? In the case of the production version, only the first three digits are interesting, which clearly determine the SW version. Only with Beta, the individual versions are also different from the Build version, and that is why they are listed here on the forum.

  7. However, I still don't understand the point of your posts - you only write what is stated in the first sentence of the request ("...so their content (for example, with a larger number of decimal places) is not visible").
  8. What would it be good for? How is the application supposed to know that "1:1" means 1x1px, or 10x10px, or 123,45x123,45mm?
  9. In my opinion, the decimal places are not "cut off", they are just not displayed - they do not fit into the edit box (which is, by the way, the point of my request that the edit box also expands when the Transform panel is expanded). Try clicking in the edit field and use the cursor/arrows to move to the end of the value.
  10. Interesting - not everywhere. In the case of the Transform panel, try reducing the number of digits before the decimal point. Edit: And in the case of the Paragraph panel, did you write a number with six decimal places?
  11. After changing the width of the Transform Panel, the size of the editing fields will not be adjusted, so their content (for example, with a larger number of decimal places) is not visible. Automatic adjustment of the size of editing fields, as is done for example in the Paragraph Panel, would be very beneficial and desirable.
  12. After more than half a year and after updating to 2.1.0 😲

  14. If you are not using a specific ICC profile, you can exclude it from the export (uncheck the button that peeks out at the bottom of the screenshot).
  15. The combination of multiple pixels looks even more interesting, when they interact with each other during rotation. The result then looks completely different from the unrotated original.
  16. Likewise, doubleclicking on a slice thumbnail should adjust/enlarge its display.
  17. ADesigner Version? Edit: Create Slice with Layers panel + Create Slice? Ordering don't work. Create Slice with Slice Tool? Ordering work. Your slice vs my slice. vs Edit2: first created slice must be via Slice tool!
  18. Since PE is primarily a DAM (with basic editing functions that are more than sufficient for many users), the comparison with APhoto is difficult, because it has no DAM functions, but the editing functions are much better. So you have to specify whether editing functions or DAM functions are important to you.
  19. Personally, I think that the stroke style (dashed line, vector brush) is very useful - and should remain in the context toolbar. It's a pity that the displayed stroke width value is dead/inactive and cannot be edited directly (for example, using mouse scroll as with other editing fields). Since stroke width is set most often, direct editing in the context toolbar would certainly be beneficial.
