  1. Apparently there is still a bug (I thought it was already fixed) because all you have to do is enlarge the shape, do an Expand Stroke and shrink it again. Video_2023-06-02_104152.mp4
  2. This is double/overlaping node. Edit: convert this node to Sharp. Shape has a strange curvature (I don't know if you did it on purpose or it's just a mistake) which then creates a strange "formation". After converting to Sharp and straightening, Expand Stroke is done correctly. P.S. I assume it was supposed to be a rectangle with a beveled corner. I recommend drawing a shape/rectangle and using the Corner Tool.
  3. Unfortunately, this only works until you group the pseudolocked layer with an unlocked one. Video_2023-06-01_135927.mp4
  4. I assume you know that Serif's "lock" concept in no way protects the content of layers from being modified or deleted!
  5. APublisher should also do this correctly, because it writes the information about the printing execution to the metadata, but then does not save it to the file.
  6. For these purposes, Ctrl+J is not suitable, because the size will always be incremented by the defined value of the "new" object, i.e. the already enlarged object. You would need the gradual size increments to always be made to the original object, which the Duplicate function does not do. P.S. further clarification, Ctrl+J converts the size change to a percentage increment - that's why the enlarging object also manifests itself as an enlarging increment.
  7. https://www.google.com/search?q=Fully+Functioning+Studio+Link+in+all+3+Apps+site:https://forum.affinity.serif.com Therefore, I open all documents in APublisher, and then only use Person (Designer, Photo) to switch for specific tasks.
  8. I had a feeling that this worked for your needs, but now I see that the position of the artboards, even when nested, is always absolute to the "origin" of the artboards. You would need the position of the nested artboard to be relative to the "parent" artboard (exactly how nested Layers and Groups work). Position is therefore relative, because the position changes with the position of the "parent" artboard, but the "value" of X/Y is displayed absolutely relative to the "origin" artboard. I don't know if it was intentional, or if it's a bug/result of the fact that artboards probably weren't even designed for this purpose.
  9. Although it has already been mentioned here, just to be sure: https://affinity.help/designer2/English.lproj/pages/ExportPersona/slicesPanel.html
  10. You write "is there any way to import, scale and reduce the image with interpolation control?" So I would import/open the image, resize it to the desired value with the Resample setting, and then use the resized/interpolated image in the target document.
  11. The description is long (thanks for it), but I still don't see any reason why Artboards are "necessary". Encapsulation of objects (doors, labels) and their exact placement will also be ensured by Layers and Groups (as well as artboards). I don't know about printing - I didn't understand the description well there, but creating slices using Create Slice (Layers Panel in Export persona) might help. P.S. I hope you are using Symbols for the same/repeating parts. P.S.S. Maybe I don't understand your request well, but are you sure you have the artboards "nested"? For me, the position of the nested artboards behaves exactly the same as for all other nested objects - exactly as I would expect. Remember that the position of non-nested artboards is always relative to the leftmost and topmost "origin" artboard, which define the position 0, 0. Moving this "origin" artboard, or adding another artboard more to the left or more to the top, will also change the coordinates of all the others. It doesn't matter with standard artboards (just watch out for the pixel perfect problem), because they are independent drawing surfaces/containers. But in your case, it could have undesirable consequences.
  12. However, unnecessary confusion can occur when you launched V1 application that does not open files created from V2. Therefore, if the V1 application is not needed (you can always reinstall it), then I would recommend uninstalling it - that is, if V2 works well for you and you are fully satisfied with it.
  13. Unfortunately, no. In version 2.1, the currently selected/used brush is highlighted, but this does not say anything about previously used brushes, or perhaps the possibility of modifying their parameters. Which is of course a shame, and it is an inconsistency in the behavior of the application - with Stroke and Color, additional editing works without any problems.

  15. The items aren't even arranged alphabetically, which they are in the Windows version. Looks like the Mac version got out of control by Serif 🙂
  16. Those two identical "Toggle Full Screen" items at the end look quite strange 🙂
  17. Just out of curiosity - what is your reason for nesting Artboards? In my opinion, this is not the purpose of Artboards - it should be about separate drawing areas and containers, and the need for nesting and grouping should be solved using Layers and Groups. Edit: Since each Artboard can have its own Rules and Grids settings, I see the only advantage of nesting and overlapping in the possibility of combining different Grids and Guides on one drawing.
  18. Do you mean the keyboard shortcut for exporting each specific slice? What if there are hundreds of them - how will the shortcut be distinguished? Or do you mean the keyboard shortcut for exporting all slices created and enabled for export (bottom right button "Slices exportieren"), which you didn't mark in your image?
  19. Select all layers in Layers panel, Copy, and New from Clipboard? Or New document, and successive copying of individual layers/groups?
