  1. Open dialog for filename settings has caption "Open". SaveAs dialog for filename settings has caption "SaveAs". Export dialog for filename settings has caption also "SaveAs". This is quite confusing, because the difference between saving in native affinity format, and exporting to another fornat, is considerable. Wouldn't it be more appropriate "Export To"?
  2. Alternatively, the flip can be made by resizing the object - dragging the left/top side behind the right/bottom side.
  3. Select all Text frames, and in Transform panel set X position relative "+=Value", and W set absolute.
  4. In your link, however, @GabrielM talking about repairing an incorrect extension for batch processing, not SaveAs dialog. P.S. This "big" *.tif/*.tiff problem can be solved by a single checkbox in preferences, whether the user chooses according to their needs and habits.
  5. Unfortunately, this is the most common reason for switching to APhoto and back.
  6. From the formulation ", or on the Layers menu in whatever version of Affinity Photo you are using" I assumed, that the APhoto condition applies only to the Layers menu :-)
  7. Is it schizophrenic also with JPEG (*.jpg vs *.jpeg), or is it okay?
  8. Now is the spring sale, so you can save something :-) https://affinity.serif.com/store/
  9. Check out the pictures from OP. File name from menu item Compress, Burn, Copy ...
  10. This is the OS setup, not the individual applications. Read again the first post from v_kyr.
  11. As far as I understand, it's not Affinity file (afphoto), but exported TIFF, for which Affinity gives the *.tiff extension. While in the first case it is a TIFF with a *.tif extension. All you have to do is set the N-XD to open with *.tiff (v_kyr).
  12. autosave file is not unfortunately a backup/full copy of the whole unsaved afphoto file, but only record new and unsaved modifications. So he needs the original file, to which the unsaved edits will be added. So it really serves only to rescue unsaved changes, not to rescue the lost file.
  13. I wonder, what your image should be replaced with? Then try the Clone brush tool.
