  1. The current empty state of the beta forum is therefore quite ideal - you can complain about absolutely everything. Hopefully they don't start filling it with something, because it will reduce our room for complaints 😞
  2. Snapping object is purple, unsnapping object no? - see Snapping candidates.
  3. Inserting an image into another image is no problem (Ctrl+C, Ctrl+V), but jagged edges - if I understand correctly, depends on the method and precision of how you removed the background from the image.
  4. You mean this? Do you have Export Slice selected/marked? Is the selected/marked Slice set to a different size?
  5. Serif definitely does not provide information of this type - in principle, it does not promise anything. If you want to see what's being worked on, check out the beta forums.
  6. Maybe because it's been requested many times already, and Serif has commented on it many times. If I remember correctly, Serif bears full responsibility for its applications, and therefore also for the correctness of the translations. It is not Open source, Shareware or Freeware for users to finish at home. P.S. Translation using external tables is suitable at most for menu items, where the variable/different length of words with the same meaning does not matter so much, but it is not suitable for UI, where it can cause complete disintegration and illegibility of forms and panels.
  7. Drag panel via Tab? P.S. Are you asking about the "display" of the panel, or its "relocation"? The panel is displayed by default - so its label can be shortened.
  8. As write Walt "your OS settings for the color profile assigned to your display/monitor", try show screenshot with this settings (not Affinity settings).
  9. No - Affinity uses (correctly) the ICC profile for the monitor for painting/drawing on the canvas. OS color management is used for UI.
  10. In "red box" isn't "Tool" - it is Transform panel (see his tab label). This values show/set via Move Tool (and other).
  11. Try search this: https://www.google.com/search?q=JPEG+with+clipping+path+site:forum.affinity.serif.com
  12. Hi @Patrick Connor (I didn't know who exactly to direct the Help comment to). The current description about Crop tool in Help is not clear - it is not clear if it is an image as a whole document or an image placed on a layer. https://affinity.help/photo2/English.lproj/pages/Tools/tools_crop.html It is only described in the note in the chapter about "cropping". https://affinity.help/photo2/English.lproj/pages/SizeTransform/cropping.html Thus, a proper understanding of the crop tool's functionality requires a detailed reading of several Help articles, which is probably not optimal.
  13. I think it would also be useful to be able to fill in some user fields (metadata) when creating a new document - for example, the author's name (this could also be part of the template), title, document description, etc.
