  1. I recently purchased and attempted to download Publisher (today's sale 03-25-2021) and several of the brush, texture, filter packages. When I was attempting to download Publisher and one of the brushes, I received a notification from my antivirus app that said your software had just installed a virus/pup on my system. When the scan was completed, there was in fact a virus/pup located on my system. Please resolve the issue and remove the virus/pup from your installation package(s) and/or links. Hopefully this will not fatally infect my computer and can be resolved without issue. I was super excited about getting creative with your new program... now I am just super bummed and hoping this will not be a long-term problem. 🥺
  2. I am having a terrible time solving what seems to be a color discrepancy between what I am seeing on my monitors within the Affinity Designer & Photo applications and what I am printing out via my office printer as well as outside print services. While Affinity Designer & Photo display bright, crips images within the monitor itself, my print jobs from any file format appear very dark and dull, even when printed through third party print shops. I have had no issues in the past with other programs and their settings. I am wondering if there might be a color setting that I need to change internally to help your program accurately display on screen what my (and outside) printers will produce. If you have any other suggestions, they would be much appreciated.
  3. I would very much like to see a Texture "Pane" Option in Affinity Designer (and Photo): In addition to being able to paint with texture brushes (in vector or pixel), or simply import a pixel layer with texture, I would love to be able to save and use an entire Texture "Pane" (as in window "pane") Option from a panel of options like the brush window offers. I would like to have the ABILITY TO MAKE A TEXTURE "PANE" TRANSPARENT (or translucent; either vector or pixel) IN ADDITION TO BLACK, WHITE, AND COLOR and be able to choose whether it will cut through all layers, or only a selection of layers. (I have searched and not found any method for doing this.) (I'm a newbie when it comes to the technical jargon, hopefully you get the idea. If anyone knows how to do this, I'd love your direction!) Thanks, H
  4. Thank you Dave, I found the error. It was due to an erroneously placed blank box in the master page that had a default wrap setting. Once deleted, the apparent "page break" disappeared. Thank you for replying...
  5. This is a request for an "Undo Break" option (to remove page, line, and other breaks from text). I have searched high and low and cannot find a way to remove a Page Break from my text formatting without undoing all the formatting (I have color, italics, bold, etc. within my text that I do not want to lose to remove this page break that keeps moving my text to the wrong page when I attempt to overlay an image (no, it's not a text wrap issue). Please help by upgrading the software to include an option to remove page, line or other text breaks without having to alter any of the other formatting within a given area of text. Thank you!
  6. It would be FABULOUS to have the capability in Affinity Designer to "find an edge/line" on a pixel image and transform it to a smooth vector line, based on color, contrast, or other user-selected options. I do a lot of work with flat/solid color images, and being able to "draw" a vector along the edge of, or around, a pixel shape would be enormously helpful and time-saving! Thank you for considering...
  7. For some reason my curser stopped selecting items on my screen in Affinity Designer with a single click. I now cannot get the curser to select items unless I click and drag the selection box around them. Please help, I haven't been able to find a solution, apart from starting a new document. Thanks!
  8. I would like to see a simpler way to visualize which pages will print on the left or right sides of a booklet. I understand there is a multiple page view, but it woud be faster for me to determine which is a left facing page or a right facing page if there was some indicator in the pages view (e.g.: a small dark marker of some sort in the bottom left or right corner of each page shown; could be an option shown along with changing the name of the page window). Or it would be helpful to see a two-page spread screen to see which pages will print to face one another. Alternately, it would also be helpful to have an option to force a master page to appear on the left or right face when using a booklet fold (and have it automatically place an extra page before or after in order to accommodate this transition). This would come in handy when creating booklets if you prefer the chapter title page to always begin on the right side (or left). Thanks for listening... Looking forward to seeing what Affinity Publisher 2017 beta has to offer!
