the update for Affinity on the app store has not rectified the previous errors? can you please take me through an idiot's step by step guide in what you mean from previous reply.... "I looked through the document you sent, and found 3 levels adjustments - with the following settings: Black: 11% White: 100% Black: 14% White: 100% Black: 13% White: 100% I then swapped and inverted these settings, yielding: Black: 0% White: 89% Black: 0% White: 86% Black: 0% White: 87% The document then looks identical to your "correct" image above."

  5. Hey So i'm trying to open up some of my older Affinity files in the new updated version and the images are corrupted? They look like the contrast has been put on it's highest setting. Can anyone help? Ive attached some examples. The second image is how it should look. The first is how the Affinity files are appearing in 1.3.5 thanks Paul
  6. have been a photoshop devotee for years and am trying to move my entire folio of work into Affinity. the one issue I am having is finding the equivalent of the polygonal lasso tool that is in Photoshop for trimming photos/layers? A lot of my work requires scanning in existing drawings and then trimming around them to give them a clean edge. I have been able to do this using the masking tools but cannot for the life of me figure out how to mask a clean, straight edge? I am probably being a bit thick but am really struggling to find a solution. Any tips would be appreciated. As I cannot seem to articulate what I am trying to say, I have taken some crude screenshots of what I mean and attached them,
