Sorry about that - just figured that I didn't want to leave everyone for another week or so with a version I knew there was a problem in that you'd likely run into! :)

Could you try closing down the beta version then running it again while holding down the Ctrl key. A dialog will appear - hit Select All and then Clear. This should restore the beta back to the original settings. It will lose any modifications you have made though.

Hi Jack, The dialog that popped up has a download button on it - just hit that and it'll take you to the beta forum, with the first post being a thread with the most recent beta download in it. We've found and fixed the issue - there should be a new beta build on the way that fixes this within the next few hours! :)

Okay, there seems to be something strange going on there - thank you for bringing it to my attention. It isn't actually to do with how many objects there are, it's something to do with their position.... If you reverse the order of the objects in the document you can see that the object with the lowest y translation is still the one that is not updating. However, if you drag that object vertically instead of horizontally you can see your exported image does update - so it's something to do with that bottom area of the document!?! I'll look at getting this sorted, thanks! :) Matt

Well, hopefully by setting your system language you can make the decision whether you'd expect to use the English or German translation version :)

We're definitely not averse to considering things... I thought that some of our users had already got their data into Motion though? What file formats does it accept? Is there not an SVG or EPS import option? Thanks! :) Matt

Yes, I'm aware of this happening - it's only just that the thumbnail image is cached and isn't regenerated when it is removed from being a clip child - there's nothing harmful or unstable happening so don't worry too much - I will try to fix this. Sorry for any inconvenience in the meantime.

You can also just hit Cmd+C to copy the source object, then select the destination object and hit Cmd+Shift+V to paste the style onto the destination object.

Ahh.... that makes some sense now... Basically, the photo you've got in your document is made from pixels, but it isn't at that point an editable raster object in the document - it's still just a photo so you need to do the extra step of rasterising it and turning it into a raster object in the document. I'm not 100% certain it's a good requirement though and maybe it would make more sense if we auto-rasterized and informed the user at the point they try to perform those operations. Sorry about the confusion...

I'm guessing the Pantone colours you've got are specified with an approximate RGB value in sRGB profile? If so, I think I'm right in saying that you will get the closest matching colour from your print shop if you specify the colour in your RGB document with the sRGB profile set, then choose to Convert to the destination profile. As I said earlier, this tries to maintain the visual appearance of the colours by choosing the destination profile's closest visual matching to the input. Your RGB values will change because they have to in order to make this happen. You should now be seeing the colours that will come back from your print shop (as close as possible). It's important to note that these are very unlikely to exactly match the original Pantone colour as it was a specific spot colour - an ink on its own - but it should be the closest match possible, given that your printer is using that specific profile for their output. If in any doubt, it is always best to get a proof done, or just simply talk to your print shop and tell them that you are providing them with a document in RGB colorspace using the Adobe RGB (1998) profile and ask if you can expect the colours they print to be representative of what you are seeing on the screen (given that as I have shown you above, our displayed colours are an exact match of those shown in PhotoShop with the same setup).
