  1. Correct. 1.7.2 was new just last month I believe, and Affinity would not run properly after I installed that update. They just released 1.7.3, which was to fix some bugs, and I installed it this morning. It really seemed to mess with my computer, as it took well over a half hour to load. The software ran worse after installing it. I have tried closing all other software and have restarted the computer a couple times, and it seems to be better, but is still slow.
  2. Mine is a late 2011 MacBook Pro running High Sierra 10.13.6. Canon DPP and Photo Ninja work perfectly, and Affinity did until I did the 1.7.2 update.
  3. I installed AP update 1.7.3 from the Apple App Store today, and it is worse than it was before. Affinity now locks up constantly, and the pizza wheel spins incessantly. If I go to "Force Quit," it indicates that Affinity is not responding. If I attempt to access any function, such as dodge/burn, the pizza wheel spins for at least a minute before that action functions, but the second I start to use it, the pizza wheel begins to spin again, and nothing happens. Can I get rid of this update and revert to the older version?
  4. I updated Affinity Photo the other day from Apple's App Store, and it has been a nightmare since. It locks up constantly, the spinning pizza wheel runs constantly, it takes forever to complete a command, and eventually I have to force quit, because my laptop says it is not responding. Suggestions? Can I get rid of this update and revert to the older version?
  5. Hi JFisher, Do you have a Dropbox for this purpose? The file is 265MB. You can contact me via my registered email address if necessary. The afphoto file still fails to export a tiff; it will export a jpeg. But here's another problem I've had. On occasion if I have saved the afphoto file first, and then exported images, some of the exports have failed. So now I routinely export .tif and then .jpg, and then save the afphoto file. Thanks.
  6. I am on the ten-day trial and have processed a couple hundred images. In most cases I have had no problem exporting a jpeg or tif, and no trouble saving the final version of my work as an afphoto file, which I have been able to reopen to adjust. However, with absolutely no change in my workflow or method, on occasion I am unable to export a tif, although I can save the file and can export a jpeg. If I export the image as a tif, the icon on my desktop is black, and if I open it, it is blank. This is so random that I am unable to figure it out. If I close the image and start fresh, I get the same result. I can go to the next image I want to process and have absolutely no problem saving the file and exporting both a tif and jpeg.
