Hi, I have a quite important issue with the apps. The layer preview changes based on transparency. While at first glance the interactive preview might seem cool or useful it gets quickly annoying when you try to find the layer you are looking for. This is a problem because I recognise what a layer is based on it’s original look. If I have a low transparency all I get is a grey/dark flat color in the preview and this coupled with the fact that if I don’t rename the layers right away makes finding layers later hard to impossible. Could you please change this or put some google to disable the effect? Tip: For the brush when painting is pretty awesome actually to have a preview of the final result. Thanks, Vlad

Make selection from layer doesn’t work on curves even closed ones.

+1 and ctrl+space+drag for zooming with tablets. I only use a tablet and zooming with the touchpad isn’t exactly ideal...

Snapping while Alt + dragging a shape still doesn’t work.

Affinity apps are truly amazing and getting better and better each time. I wish better support for UI designers and 3D guys. HDRI, OpenEXR and such support.

It’s still in an early beta and the live effects like in PS are still in development. They asked about some workflow usage a few weeks ago in another thread. I am certain it will be available in 1-2 months or so. Edit: Actually a reply to my question by a developer said they should come next week.

New grid improvements are cool for sure. :D Now time to stress Matt about those multiple artboards + snapping improvements(like sketch for example) + symbols + off-canvas workspace :D Thanks

Maybe make a subdivide tool? And you can interactively adjust subdivision levels on specific lines or the whole object. Matt what are the chances of making something like this?

I agree with this.

MEB that kinda works. IT does jump to the first font starting with that letter but that’s it. It won’t recognise further inputs. In AI this works just fine. As for accessing font collections....it involves just way too many steps to be practical.

You have a point. It feels like the darker tab is actually active.

Any chance for you guys to add some search box to the font list? Or make selection jump to whatever you type. Ex: “Hel” and it jumps to Helvetica and it highlights it. Making a top list with favourite fonts won’t hurt either.

Hi Matt, Yes I knew that this week there won’t be any update to the beta. I was actually asking about next week :) . But you provided the answer to some extent. It’s a maybe. Just interested in the snapping + grids + guides improvements, they will be a huge help for UI design. Thanks, Vlad
