  1. Hello. Thank you very much for supplying the link to the video, which certainly shows me how to copy and paste to a new document. That is great. However, it seems to me that it is not possible to copy a selection and paste that selection to a new document which is automatically the size of the selected area. This can be done in the PC version. If this can be done with the Ipad version, please show me, if not then that is okay. Best wishes to you in your creative work and bye for now. Paul.
  2. G'day from Australia. I am a complete newbie to Affinity Photo for the Ipad. What I want to do is 1. Create a selection. 2. Copy the selection. 3. Paste the selection into a new file which has the same dimensions as the selection. I can see that this is easy to do with Photo for the PC, but I hope that this can also be done with the Ipad. If it can be done, please give a very straightforward explanation on how to do this, and perhaps add some screen dumps. Thank you for your help, and hooroo for now. Paul.
  3. Thank you for all your replies. Reglico's suggestion works perfectly for me. Best wishes to everyone and bye for now. Paul.
  4. G'day from Australia. I have Atffinity Designer for Windows. I am very much a beginner. I want to select an object, then Ctrl J, then drag the object horizontally, then rotate. Now I want to Ctrl J, with the object rotating and moving along a horizontal line. At the moment I can't see how to do this. Here is a screen dump of what I want to do. Hopefully some of the experts out there can assist me with this challenge. Thank you and seeya. Paul.
  5. Hello. I have Affinity Photo and Affinity Designer for the PC. Awesome programs. I am interested in purchasing Affinity Photo for the Ipad. I have an Ipad Pro 512 Gig, latest update. I will have images that are at least 9000 X 9000 pixels, which may have four layers or more. Will Affinity Photo for the Ipad manage these files? What would be the largest size in pixels that my Ipad Pro can manage? Many thanks for your assistance and I look forward to hearing from you soon. Seeya.
  6. Interesting work. I look forward to seeing the final product. Best wishes and bye for now.
  7. Excellent work Beautiful structures, colours and balance of textg with graphics. Well done indeed.
  8. Hi KipV Congratulations on getting the book published. I know how much work goes into that, and getting the formatting right. Do you mind me asking you if this is a true story. We care for a profoundly disabled young man Grant, whose birth was completely normal, and then 36 hours after birth he started having seizures. At the time he was only given from one two two years life expectancy. Well we have been caring for Grant full time since was 18 months old. He is now 29 years old. Although he has a profound brain injury, is non-verbal and fed through a PEG, he is in himself happy and contented. He will be with us for the rest of his life. Best wishes to you and your family and bye for now. Paul.
  9. G'day from Australia. My WIndows 10 computer is very ill and I have to take the computer down to the computer shop for a system 10 reinstall. Could some kind soul please help me with. 1. Best wishes and seeya. Paul.
  10. G'day everyone. I was able to do all of the above with a copyright png ready, in the batch processor on its own. Took about a minute to add the copyright image and savethe 50 plus files to png as a macro within the batch processor. How about that. I am impressed :) seeya.
  11. G'day from Australia. A few weeks back I purchased Designer and Photo. I have been working hard at learning Designer. What a great program. I have now created 56 Designer files, which are A3 landscape files. CHALLENGE I need to add a watermark/copyright image over all the images and save the images as PNG files. I have not yet used Photo, so I wonder if some of the experts could tell me if what I want to do is possible, either in batch mode or as a macro. If it is possible to do this, then could some kind soul show me what to do in extremely simply directions. I have now reached the big 70, I am slowing down a bit :D , so please be patient. Thank you for you help. Of course if this is not possible I will do it manually, but I need this done ASAP. Best wishes and I look forward to hearing from you soon. Hooroo for now. Paul.
