You don't need that FX outline stuff at all here. I assume you already have a vector silhouette (?) (otherwise take and open one of the below attached PDF or SVG files). - If so, then just apply a white stroke of some size and remove the fill color (no fill). - I show it here with a red rectangle in order to make the white stroke better visable. For the white document background get rid of that via "document setup" and enabling/seting up "transparent" there.

The best way is you leave the Preference/Setting alone. And you put the language-specific folders into the directory shown in that default Preference/Setting.
The mistake many users make is creating a language-specific folder, such as en_CA, and putting it into the proper location. But then they change the Preference/Setting and add en_CA to the end of it. That action is not specified in the FAQ. The FAQ says to create a folder for the language, in the folder specified in the Preference/Setting, and put the dictionary files in the language folder.

I just used the Add Gradient Overlay button at the bottom of the Overlay panel to add more gradient overlays, selected each one in turn, & then used the Overlay Gradient Tool to give each of them an overlay.
Of course, nothing visible happens until/unless I change something like say the exposure or whatever for each of the gradients.

Not really important to me as a Mac user but from that FAQ I did not understand how this was supposed to be structured for Windows. Perhaps if the FAQ included an example of the correct structure folder it might have been easier to understand?

Equally, the suggestions and questions above are very sensible and helpful IMO, and would be extremely similar to questions asked by Affinity staff, for example:
All of these are questions that the Affinity team would ask, and I can only see a definitive answer for one (that your layer is a Pixel layer).
Unfortunately we can't assist further if we aren't sure of the steps you're taking, the tool settings you have or the results you're seeing - so my apologies but I'm not certain what further help you are awaiting at this time, without helping others to assist you.

@augustya That is rather a dismissive attitude towards those who have already tried to assist you with perfectly sensible suggestions.
Is there any reason why you have ignored the requests to post a full screen capture of exactly what you are doing? 
It is practically impossible to help beyond the advice given so far without being able to see the issue and context. 

Thank you very much for your advise. Just now I am using AF only on  a HP laptop without touch screen.  I have a android tablet. But AF is not supported. So I think I   can go in for a touchscreen laptop as suggested. Ipad is too expensive in India.

No there is no normal common way to leave the inside focus of that field (pressing Esc just clears it's contents ...). So there's no real way to leave it's focus other than what you've already said and tripple clicking on "Stock" (shrinking the panel group it's inside and expanding Stock again). The Stock panel itself is also lacking to have an own associated Panel Preferences menu.

Most of the Affinity tools which draw arc based shapes are defined that percentage way. That's a common way for plain drawing apps and the like ...
Draw a circular sector with SVG
In order to get absolute values use some other more appropriate tools and/or draw things in SVG instead for reuse.

As the OP clearly said "I dont mean Apple Ipad, but other standalone graphics display tablets" that's commonly not possible as the Affinity apps (other than for Win PCs and Macs) are so far only available for iPadOS. - So what I've said is meant in the PC/Mac computer context here and there it would only be possible for a Win Tablet computer based device running Win (a notebook device with touch & pencil), which then could run Affinity apps without the need of an otherwise wired/wireless connection to some PC, so on it's own as some of those Tablet computer devices come along with Win OS and own SSD storage hardware. - So to make it clear, common Graphics Tablets (thus only display based graphics tablets) usually can't run Affinity apps on their own without any wireless/wired connection to some host PC, as far as if they don't come along with an own independent Win OS and related internal storage hardware (so what notebook tablet computer devices would offer here instead).

Depends on for what you would use it personal mainly for and of course the overal price of it, as the whole hardware & software is macOS wise outdated and no longer upgradable (obsoleted). - So it should be clear that at a long view this mac hardware/OSX software has no future and thus will lack any Apple macOS software updates (also OS security wise).

Since not everybody has or uses a Panasonic Lumix DC GH6 here. - The other thing you have to know and thus take into account here is, that software like APh and many other software don't implement their own RAW image decoding engine, instead they do rely on third-party decoding engines (APh namely on Libraw and for macOS also alternatively what the Apple OS already offers) here.
So I doubt it will help that much to write to Panasonic, as they might not care much about how and if open source libraries like Libraw do support their RW2 format.

The same reason a bunch of Win users have problems with drivers and OpenCL here, aka no flawless adaption/optimization to these hardware acceleration related APIs.
