Just use a capable Font management software, an overview of such tools.

v_kyr got a reaction from Evergladez in Ständig neue Pixelebene in Hauptebene- Hilfe

Pretty much the same as for built-in CD/DVD drives on older ones here, where CD/DVD disks in worst case maybe don't slide out anymore when unmount!

v_kyr got a reaction from L-K in CMYK to RGB (affinity designer)
Well as you can see from certain gamut (color space) comparison overviews ...
... the biggest portion of CMYK and RGB color space do overlap and only few colors aren't mapped 1:1 here. So converting from CMYK to sRGB shouldn't be that much of a deal here, since CMYK is the smallest color space.
Things are usually more difficult into the other direction here, meaning here converting from a higher/wider gamut to a small one, like for example from Adobe RGB to CMYK, since the wide gamut does have much more colors which you can't map 1:1 here.
However in your case converting from CMYK to sRGB there shouldn't be such a big discrepancy between the shown colors.

v_kyr got a reaction from Evergladez in German needs help, Problems/Questions !!!

v_kyr got a reaction from firstdefence in Symmetrical dashed line coupon boxes in Designer?
Here is traced one from a JPG image, then saved as PDF for vector exchange (as curve). But it's not perfect either, I've overseen two little dots on the right side and also some dashes didn't traced that well as rects.

v_kyr reacted to Polygonius in Edit Text NOT Working
Yeah, but if you are ANYWHERE onany layer, you can use this method with the doubleclick to speed up: It will automatically select the text layer and switch to text-tool and set a text-marker inside (select all "invisible" fur edit all) the text. 3 steps at once, just by doubleclick with move-tool.

v_kyr reacted to toltec in Edit Text NOT Working
'test' is not a text layer.
If you look at the Status bar at the very bottom of the screen, it says 'Pixel'
It appears that at some time, you have rasterised the layer. i.e. turned it into pixel data.
This is what it should say
this is what happens when you rasterise the text layer

v_kyr got a reaction from All Media Lab in Keep opening in drawing transparent AD
First select all the A curve portions and then appy a subtract operation on these, that should leave you with a curve of that A which you can fill the way you are looking for (leaving the middle part out, transparent). Do the same for the R afterwards.

v_kyr got a reaction from Chris.R in How do I round trip a photo from Aperture (or Lightroom maybe) through Affinity Photo?
See this thread here, especially MEB's response ...
For Lightroom there are other threads here in the forum which do discuss the procedure for that one, use the forums or Google's search feature to find those!

v_kyr got a reaction from TEcHNOpls in [APh, win7] Color Management - refresh my memory
3. If the document working profile is not sRGB and instead let's say Adobe RGB but on export you use the "use document profile" setting without embedding the profile, it might be later that colors are not exactly shown the way they are shown inside of APh here, since the OS (or other apps) in turn might try to show up the Adobe RGB color space document/image for the sRGB color space then. Since Adobe RGB for example has a wider gamut (color space) as sRGB here, colors will then be mapped from the bigger one to the lower one, but Adobe RGB offers some color nuances which sRGB doesn't have/offer so the coloring might vary here then in contrast, depending on used colors in the working document.
If you want to be on the secure side here, use sRGB since it's the lowest common denominator in terms of used color space everywhere.
4. There are usually many different used naming conventions for sRGB icc profiles, which might be all nearly the same or at least similar. However in/for APh the supplied sRGB one is named "sRGB IEC 61966-2.1", you can usually also see this inside APh, if this naming is used as their default associated color profile naming here, since it will be shown on the top controll panel settings above file names.

Your monitor profile, if you have one for that device or you do calibrate it on your own.
See also:
- How to find the right color profile for your monitor using Windows 10
- How to correctly install and assign monitor color profiles in Windows 10 The document profile, aka your document working color space sRGB, Adobe RGB ... If you export a document with an embedded profile then use sRGB as an icc profile, if you do export without an embedded icc profile the default OS one is used on other machines, which usually is sRGB here. -
v_kyr got a reaction from Old Bruce in Numbered List Override Text Issue
Well bullet points, numbered lists etc. should for more and greater flexibility offer their own formating style setting here, being treated as separate objects, independent from any added text or characters afterwards.
