  2. 🤔 Snapping via a circle to lines won't really work here (see for example this related thread). Other tries/workarounds would be ... to draw your lines with a double (even distributed distance) compound line brush to draw symmetrical with the help of symbols to enhance your line stroke and then expand stroke, afterwards to remove the applied fill and set instead a stroke color. Then remove on both sides the end line nodes which close the whole outline shape to draw one slightly thicker stroked line and use an third-party auto vector tracer to perform an vectorization outline trace of your line drawing ... ... and so on, possible other ways ...
  3. Du selbst explizit vielleicht nicht, aber Windows update u.U. - Was tun?
  4. Change the available color representations via the color menu (top right) from tint etc. to wheel (or sliders etc.).
  5. There are many different ways to do so. - See therefor ... affinity photo convert to black and white
  6. Hmm 🤔, I have the impression that the correction path portion (the connected dashed lines) which is added/connected to the already default straight line path, is overall performed/done in some bitmap result manner. And thus if the dashed correction path portion is left in there (aka not explicitely removed before exporting), the whole then gets rasterized on export here.
  7. Good point, I can see just one difference of a square fill here, which is applied if the correction path is removed. screencast_squarefill.mp4 Gradient and bitmap fills
  8. No surprise here, as the same portable agg based rendering code is used therefor.
  9. Beside what I already told above for ADe, AFAIK no. - Other than that you would have use some third-party tool as a workaround, which then offers to do what you are after for images here (so things like ImageMagick etc.).
  10. Yes, as there is sadly no copy/duplicate functionality for slices. Working with slices Slices panel
  11. Yes, that's possible. There are also other workarounds possible, like using three different sized layers (4:1, 3:1 and 2:1) of one image in a doc. Or using some batch export with accordingly setup macros ... etc.
  12. Does that mean it doesn't check first if there is/exists a Wintab32.dll at all, before trying to load that into the app context... ... or is it just the written out app log output which is formulated like that, somehow unfavorable as a failure then?
  13. Yes of course they do. - Same as some of the libs they use, like the underlayed used 2D rendering graphics library (Anti-Grain Geometry - AGG - a free platform-independent graphics library which features anti-aliasing and sub-pixel resolution etc. written in C++).
  14. Not via settable app defaults so far, as there's no changable properties setting for that in the app defaults. Meaning, it's actually directly app internal coded that way and so unchangable/settable from outside. And app UI wise it's also not settable to be the default.
  15. The whole is more a matter of coding and UI setup. For example, the FX panel stuff does also perform direct/live changes, can be undone via the apps undo/redo operation stack, I can also detach that, so make/use it in flowable state and it just has a close button. The same can be done with the top alignment panel if wanted. Further, it's no big deal in coding to place the already available UI elements and their associated (bound) function calls, from one panel type onto another one with an additional close button. - In case of the actual alignment panel, if wanted, it would be just needed to make it also detachable from there where it actually is, in a manner how can be done with the FX panel stuff.
  16. See ... ... check after that wintab32 failure, try if installing the tablet driver solves the problem. If not report back here.
  17. Nothing, as I said before ... Further, if you reopen the by ADe generated SVG file then again in ADe, you will usually see which layers & which group layer contents has been rasterized to image portions!
  18. See related ... ADe 2 sided mirror template 2 sided - Mirror.afdesign How to make Symmetry with Symbol Tool ADe - Symmetry & mirror painting APh - Symmetry shapes in APh Symmetry and Mirror - ADe Online Help Symmetry and Mirror - APh Online Help ... etc.

  20. After starting Photo --font-cache-logging, look under/inside %appdata%\Affinity\Photo\2.0\ if there is then a log.txt file inside. And just for completness here, another fonts related cmd line option is starting the apps via --disable-font-preview-cache.
