We have pro licences for all the Affinity tools for some of our colleagues. Do you know where I can get MSI install files for Affinity Publisher, Designer, Photo to update them to 1.9 silently through GPO ?

The support of DxO NIk collection appears as partial, as lots of filters state is unknown. Fortunably, it seems to work when you choose to check the use of unknown modules. I've tested with the demo version of the filters.

 

Another thing : these filters are really powerful, but they are not sold in the Affinity Store. Is there a way to buy these filters supporting Affinity (an affiliation link) ?

Hi walt, thanks for your answer. In fact, it helps for the typo quotes :-). But the apostrophe problem remains. It seems linked to autocorrect too (replacement right/left apostrophe).

I've absolutely no problems with this font with InDesign ...

Hi, in Publisher, i encounter some problems when typing quotation marks, who didn't append in Designer.

 

As you can see below, the font is totally wrong when you type it on keyboard, but strangely, copy and past it from Designer works perfectly.

(font used : Jeronimo Bouncy from NickyLaatz)

Do you know why ?

I also encounter problems with this version. After installation, Affinity Publisher starts, but is not responding, and even after some time, the only way to close it is to kill it (win 10x64 1809). Rolling back to the 249, which runs fine.

When typing, a wrong symbol is displayed (>). When copy/paste, it works (').

When i'm trying to print current page (so the page i'm currently working on), Affinity Publisher doesn't print this page, but another one of the document.

I really hope we'll have a final version (or an initial commercial version), in my mother language :-)

Exporting a document with custom line stroke doesn't look good, as a fine line is visible to screen and print (take a look at the attached picture).

No problem exporting the document to an image format.

Hi, I want to disable the lowercase -> uppercase conversion applied when typing in text tools. I haven't found the way to disabling that in text spelling correction when typing.... Where is this option ?

If you want to test this version, you can try to install it through the "real" MSI installer with this command : C:\WINDOWS\system32\msiexec.exe /I "C:\Users\USERNAME\AppData\Local\Temp\AffinitySetup\ea9a37cc-d147-11e8-9648-0050b6654c57\Affinity.msi" /L*V "C:\Users\USERNAME\Downloads\affinitylog.log" REINSTALLMODE=vamus

(adapt the paths for you computer)

This will work.
