  1. Beautiful. Doing it all in vector is amazing.
  2. Interesting, thanks MEB. Things move fast in the software dot-com world.
  3. I have been around Sketchbook and Sketchbook Pro for years. When they switched over to annual renting ($30), I was very disappointed. I was finally going to stop renting this year, but now that it is free, great, I will keep on using it. It's free. Are you going to stop using Windows or Mac OS because of all of the underhanded things they have done over the years? All of the big software companies have their ghost in the closet. I am wondering why they chose to make it free. And I can only think they are coming out with something new. They bought iDraw and made a name change to Graphic and have done nothing with it. But I hear something is coming up soon. So when it is free, another tool in your chest, I say, use it.
  4. You have to create an account and then it will become the pro edition. https://forums.autodesk.com/t5/sketchbook-forum/sketchbook-for-free-faq/td-p/7970245
  5. Just wanted to let people know, Sketchbook Pro V8 is now free. You can download it from the App store or their web page. It makes for a great companion to Affinity.
  6. Hi, MEB. Never had this problem before this. And I have been around since the first days, using the same firewall, antivirus etc.
  7. Thank you MattP. I kept checking my Beta version and there was no reminder of the new update. Today I decided to check the forum and found out that there was an update...a few that I have missed. Why the change in the notification of updates for the Beta version?
  8. Since the very beginning, I have been asking for the smoothing tool. I think there are a lot of people who would like to have it's ability for this software program. I don't understand the resistance.
  9. I thought I would come back to this subject again because more and more I have seen the need for smoothing. I just can't understand why Affinity Designer does not have that ability. Other programs use it with great success. It is very useful when drawing freehand. It takes time to have to alway go back and correct a line. Please reconsider this. I think there are a lot of other people that would like to have the smoothing ability.
  10. All so wonderful. You have the greatest imagination. Love seeing what is next for ejects.
  11. OMG.....I think that's my doctor. :)
  12. Beautifully done.
  13. I just found out that Autodesk has bought iDraw and now is called Graphic. I was wondering when Autodesk would get into vector drawing since they already had Sketchbook Pro. I was thinking they may try and incorporate vector drawing into Sketchbook Pro. Time will tell.
