No Confirmation Button On Adjustment Layers

ralmac2 posted a topic in Pre-V2 Archive of Affinity on Desktop Questions (macOS and Windows)

when I click on an adjustment layer there is no red confirmation button in the top LH corner, so not allowing any changes

when an adjustment layer is selected there is no red confirmation button at the top left corner, please advise
