  1. Select > Select All Layers (will select only the visible layers) Layer > Lock
  2. Designer or Photo, Windows or Mac ? In Photo it still works for me (Windows) !! Although sometimes there's some delay...
  3. For the crop tool Set Mode to Absolute size and then change the Units to inches
  4. Did you try the Perspective Tool ? Start with the Dual Plane and drag the middle nodes inwards ..
  5. According F1 (Help) : "Locking is useful when you need to prevent a layer from being moved or transformed unintentionally." = i.e. on the canvas Though, one can still move it up and down in the stack. "Layers which are locked show in the Layers panel with a lock symbol next to them. Selected locked layers appear with crosses around the bounding box." And indeed, transform is locked. But one can still make selections, apply adjustment etc.
  6. I used one image (!) + 2 fill layers. If you select that three layers and then go to Layers > Merge selected, you got one image though ?
  7. One can draw a selection on an image layer, but CTRL+J will copy the hole layer. And ... the options in the Arrange menu are all visible ...
  8. Hi @Jaffa Could you provide a full screenshot with the layers panel expanded and visible or if possible attach the .afphoto file
  9. Add a mask layer and use a black grunge/texture brush to erase See attachment encounter.afphoto Hubert
  10. In the Export dialog click on the More... tab and set Rasterise to everything (but it doesn't seem to work) Instead you could click the image layer which will select also the adj layers (if nested). Then right click on the image layer and select merge visible. Then when selecting that merged layer, export should work. Didn't test for print, but I suppose it will work too.
  11. An other option would be to click on the image layer to select it and all its adjustments. Then right click and select Merge Visible or use the shortcut CTRL+SHIFT+ALT+E (same as in photoshop) to merge them to a new layer.
  12. It was a know issue that arose in earlier versions of APhoto, when applying an FX outline on a RGB/32 (HDR) image. But it's has been fixed. Did you update to the latest version ?
  13. True, but only if also snapping is on (Develop Persona). But after developing the transparency is still visible ...
  14. Cropping in Photo Persona, with Force Pixel Alignment works fine (I know) But, I was cropping/dragging in Develop Persona and when moving back to Photo the transparency is still there.
  15. Hi @Chris B I did some testing and experienced a more or less similar problem. In Develop Persona, after cropping, when zooming in very deeply (at 1000% or more), only at the bottom and the right hand side, a transparent border appears. Don't know if this is relevant !
  16. A kind of hidden function ..! Great, thanks @Murfee Never too old to learn.
  17. I'm afraid this isn't possible (at the moment) in photo. You can convert the path to a selection and save the selection to file, but as you can't convert a selection to a path, then it will be more difficult to edit afterwards.
  18. Yes, in the upper corner under "Develop" it should show 100% (see attachment). What settings did you use for the detail refinement ?
