Well it's weekend now. If it's urgent, would you try to upload the RAW file or provide a download link ?

AP Windows crashes when grouping layers
HVDB Photography replied to jstudley's topic in V1 Bugs found on Windows
In that case it would better to first group the layers and then add an adjustment layer or a mask to that group. Group afj layer.mp4 -
Are you using "Live Noise Reduction FIlters" in your projects ? If so , try using the Bilateral Blur Live filter instead.

AP Windows crashes when grouping layers
HVDB Photography replied to jstudley's topic in V1 Bugs found on Windows
HI, Yes, it is reproducible. As I had in mind, it is the "Live Noise Reduction Filter" that caused the problem. This requires further research by the development team. Now, if you want the live filter only to affect a specific layer then it's better to add the adjustment layer as a child. EDIT And to add to this ... You don't need a separate mask to a Live Filter Layer. They have a build in mask !! Hubert -
AP 1.7.0 Slow Raw Performance
HVDB Photography replied to elbingo's topic in V1 Bugs found on Windows
As for me,I already did that a while ago ..... As for now, I've disabled Noise Reduction in Development assistant. And instead use the bilateral blur (if needed) in photo persona. But I prefer to apply Noise Reduction in Develop Persona. -

If possible, could you upload the .afphoto file ? -
Hi guys, With the current File > Place command, most of the time, one need to Rasterise the layer to be able to perform the necessary operations. And maybe I'm not the only one ? So, would it be possible to add that extra place command ? And, it would at least avoid a lot of confusion and questions concerning the "Place command" on the forum. TIA, Hubert

No, but you may/can -
That is a big misunderstanding. Affinity Photo's Develop Persona does not overwrite your RAW images. They remain untouched. The RAW data that is being read is processed virtually in memory. If you save your settings as a preset, you can always open the RAW file again and start over from scratch our load the previous saved preset for further edit.
