Thanks for the suggestion. That's would work, also a bit complicated - in order to de-ghost/clone from one single image all layers in the stack need to be masked. It is very conveniently done in Focus-stacking or HDR-stacking when each layer is added to clone sources, I was looking for a way to do same with layers in the stack.

I am trying to merge some images into an image stack (like for long exposure simulation and noise reduction) and also clone some details from individual images into a final image. It looks like it is working automatically when doing Focus or HDR-stacking - individual images are automatically added to clone sources - but I was not able to figure how to do it in an image stack?
