I am really starting to like Affinity for windows a lot and I like the functionality. The main reason for not being wholheartedly for Affinity is probably my ignorance - I want to have a work flow that means I can edit in lightroom and then go to affinity and then back again without having to save the Affinity file then import back into lightroom. Maybe there is a way to do this already but I am not aware of this so any help or comment would be appreciated.

I can use affinity as an external editor in both lightroom and photoshop but the resulting edit does not automatically save back to the application. Is this normal?
