    Hi Zk433,
No. You can save a document with the guides already set and use it every time you want to start a document with them as if it was a template.

Hi guys! I needed to create a custom design for a Brand manual and I was struggling with the fact that there's no layout grid option like sketch. So I decided to download the illustrator templates of the 960.gs grid system and adapt it to affinity designer using the constraints (so no matter how wide your artboard is, the grid will always strech porportionally). Hope you find this as useful as me.

    You've got three files:
12 column layout 16 column layout 24 column layout Happy designing!
    960_grid_12_col.afdesign
    960_grid_16_col.afdesign
    960_grid_24_col.afdesign

We're still waiting for an 'Insert Symbol/Glyph' option. Meanwhile, you can use TypeIt (as I suggested in an earlier post) or CopyPasteCharacter.com. If you have a numeric keypad you can use Alt+nnnn sequences, but that involves remembering the numbers you need (e.g. Alt+0169 for a copyright symbol). You can look up these things online, of course, but if you need to do that then you might as well copy and paste the actual characters!

I'm not sure about 'Copy As SVG', but my snapping settings seem to be remembered from one session to the next. As for spell checking, if you set the language to 'None' then you won't get any of those annoying squiggly red lines.
