  1. Perhaps we consider what a programme can do more important than how it looks.
  2. So long as Affinity's extensions are the same as other photo software's output I don't care how long they are. It is the consistency that we are after.
  3. All my other photo software uses TIF as the file extension for Tagged Image File Format image files. I am curious why TIFF was used by Affinity. It makes my file lists look ragged and will probably interfere with sorting lists. Can we have the option to export as TIF not TIFF please?
  4. I just came across this thread. Don't reinvent the wheel! iMatch (photools.com) has it all and integrates well with Affinity Photo. Concentrate on the fantastic software you have developed and forget about a DAM. Just my two penny worth!

  6. Let's hope so. It will aid 'round tripping' from my DAM software so much more streamlined.
  7. Perhaps if you post it as a bug TPTB might confirm it as a bug or as a feature....
  8. Coming from another RAW developer programme I have been used to being able to hover the pointer over a slider and using the mouse wheel to adjust that slider. I find it gives more precise control. That doesn't happen in Affinity Photo by default. Can it be made to do so?
  9. After I open one of my DNG RAW files and make some edits I am asked to 'Develop' the file before closing and moving on. What actually happens in the 'developing' process. Is a local copy made of the file with edits or are the edits simply recorded for the RAW file?
